I took a walk down Lovers Lane
explored some dead ends, knowing what they were
met some people, shared some words
several times I've been here, turning back each time before the road's end
down Lovers Lane I'll walk again today, and this time I'll walk all the way
this is a trippy poem haha. I tried to make it sound symbolic and stuff but here's the twist! this is about my literal experiences walking down a street named Lovers Lane near my home and my route plan for the walk I'm taking later today.
although my choice to walk to Lovers Lane every day instead of anywhere else is surely symbolic itself, yes
