If i were to die today
With my life
In such disarray
At least now
I have
If nothing else
Lived as long as i have
Not sure how
Or why
Maybe my purpose
Will be revealed
After ive left
This mortal coil
Perhaps pigs may fly?
In the meantime
I shall remain
Floating
Seemingly aimlessly
Like a petal
Caught on a wind of chance
Always present
But never quite here

The poetry isn’t in all these words —
It’s in knowing I survived them.
Holy smokes! Thank you everyone for all of the support! I don’t come here too often so I did not expect this; what a beautiful surprise ♥️

all you have to do is heed the call
I think I oughtta write a poem today

But something tells me to be quiet

So, I’m left with this

            Are you listening?
surfing gravity waves,
all the way
to the edge of Time..

crossing the oceans of the Universe
in my mind

Let's be honest,
But not with each other,
Let's not exaggerate.

Think about it,
But not too much.
