being broken is the only way to heal

Melancholy
Facy Meemster May 2017
In my own cave; my personal dwelling
Just thinking thoughts, never intending on telling
No energy no passion no smiles no drive
Just being by myself is how I thrive

Excluding myself without even realizing
Former chatterbox now stresses socializing
Family, friends they all notice first
They're confronting and yelling when I’m at my worst

Just smile be happy c'mon talk again
Get back to normal not what you have been
I hear all at least ten times a day
No matter how much you say it the blues won’t go away

Let me be let me handle it myself
just in a dark place it’s hard to find oneself
I’ll be back, just give my mind time to fight
smiles slowly appearing stepping into the light

Everywhere you look.

Down we look. Down-
Loading a book.

Down we scroll. Down
With no control.

Down the dark web. Down
into our head.

Down battery percent. Down
and discontent.

Brewing You
Facy Meemster Apr 2017
Strong emotionally and physically; while it is strong in flavor
A mug of coffee wakes one up; yet you’re the smile in the cup
You’re the feeling a child gets when handed a party favor
Caffeine is soon to crash but yet you liven up

One thousand cups can’t wake me up the way that you can
A Rosetta painted in the milk can’t compare to the beauty of you
Full of life and full of color; coffee is only black or tan
Even when the *** is empty you never bid adieu

Though black coffee is dark, it’s not as dark and mysterious as you
More life is given from your laugh than all the caffeine in the carafe
You’re the superior flavor no matter the way I brew
Your heart holds all the power; the complete opposite of decaf

Out of everyone in the world, you’re the one I adore
As for the coffee, I’m already brewing more.

Beauty in France
Facy Meemster Apr 2017
The beauty that people travel far to see
Unbelieving on how massive it could be

Wrought iron lattice visible from miles away
Bringing smiles to faces that are sure to stay

Some plan to have a kiss under its bright lights
They’ll mimic the native’s ways to cause a sight

Sending postcards home with the beauty displayed
Or even pictures of them at parties, maybe the masquerade

Packing up macarons, baguettes, and croissants
for friends and family knowing they will want

Reminiscing of the trip on the way home at 600 miles per hour
Holding the memories and pictures of the trip to the Eiffel Tower

drugs
Facy Meemster Dec 2015
drugs are bad
but drugs are good
everyone thinks people who do drugs are up to no good
but doctors give them to you
to cure you from sickness and make you feel well
some people hate them
some people think they're swell
some even think they're rad
drugs are good
but drugs are bad

the scene when the girl had been studying for hours and looked up and saw a handsome guy standing by the door of a coffee shop and his scent stayed even after he left and it was his cologne and coffee that stayed in her nose for the rest of the night

He's like a bad drug
Facy Meemster Oct 2015
So young so nieve
Doesn't know what the world means
He says what she wants to hear
She believes him and lives with out fear
He's tricking her. He's using her.
He tells her tall tales
And she stays and listens instead of making bail
Everyone sees what he's doing to her
Trying to convince her to leave before we lose her
He's manipulative and cruel
She follows his commands like its a rule
He won't leave. He won't stop.
Bringing up things that he knows he should drop
He's in her like a drug, a very addictive one at that
Planting in her brain. When we're just trying to get her back
Sis please break away from him. He's not good for you.

Allie
Facy Meemster Oct 2015
Allie I go to you when I feel alone.
I go to you when no one is home.
I hide you from my kids.
I hide you from my wife.
Just hoping one of these days,
You will take my life.
The taste of you on my lips and tongue,
Makes me forget all the wrong that I have done.
The smell of you on my breath and in the air,
Makes me wonder if I'm gone, who will care?
Allie You make me a different man.
It doesn't matter if you're from a bottle or a can.
The man I have become when it's just you and me,
Is the man I never want my family to see.
Allie I go to you when I feel alone.
Because when I'm with you I feel at home.

the man
Facy Meemster Oct 2015
the man who walks great lengths everyday
to get to the job so he can have money to pay
the man who walks there no matter the weather
arrives at the job so cold because he hasn't a sweater
the man never complains never worries
for he knows God is there to help him on his journeys
the man who's starting anew
to all the strangers  he never knew
the man seeks rides and rides
from strangers passing by
he doesn't beg he doesn't wave down
they just give him a lift from town to town
the man who walks great lengths everyday
to get to the job so he can have money to pay
just smiles and waves
and never fails to say
Good Morning and have a blessed day
if you see someone walking, give them a ride. everyone has a story. everyone needs a listener.

complete
Facy Meemster Oct 2015
everyone is out there searching for their other half.
God made us whole.
everyone needs to search for their soul mate.
our soul is born small and grows with us.
when you find your soulmate you know.
you just know.
you feel a sense of completion.
your soul stops growing as its own.
you are now a part of someone and they are a part of you.
its not your other half, although it might feel like it.
its your soulmate.
your completed soul.

Killing Me
Facy Meemster Oct 2015
Every time she makes a cute joke I say you're killing me.
Every time she looks at me with those deep ocean blue eyes I say you're killing me.
Every time she flips her perfect chocolate brown hair I say you're killing me.
I whisper in her neck when we sleep that she's killing me.
She kills me when she steps out of the shower with not a single imperfection on her body.
She kills me with the way she speaks.
She's killing me everyday and she hasn't a clue.

I say it because its her love thats killing me.

I will die for her love. And her love only.

— The End —
