Inside. What defines it?
Everyone has their own mysteries, ecstasies, and identities
But what of a definition?
How should you look at someone in the eyes of another?

Grace
That has a wind of gold wrapped around tightly in a hidden strand of simplicity
However, the idea is not easily brought to life
Stubborn is the way we view
Jealous, selfish, and a little bit overzealous
Give a reason if you feel, but it’s no help
“Look inside!” They say
But you turn and close off
“Look within,” They whisper

Tossing and turning hurts the spirit
Crushing of the wound grinds against the soul and tears the mortal in two
Shaking heads collide and are left dark in a lonely asylum
Just let them shape you
Open your ears to the possibilities of clemency riding on your shoulder

Have a look
Eyes foreshadow the sea that cradles a warm resolution
“Can it be?” You ask
A coin thrown into the ocean as you chase after it like a bull destroying red
Reaching out to touch the silky color
Drowning
The realization of the stars floating above without a rope of leniency
How dare the bull be so naive
Stretch, grab, pull
Fresh air!

Oh, the delight of mercy stepping through the portal
I missed you!
Slipping on the ring of gold fills the oxygen with euphoria
That wasn’t so hard
Why must the torcher ensue?
Just listen. Breathe. Reflect.
Look within
