I wear my scars with pride
I have nothing to hide
Life tried to tear me down
Threw me in the ocean to drown
Got some scars on the way
But fought to be here today

It is in everything,
Every single being.
Open your eyes and you'll see
Soon you will believe me.
Beauty is found
Not only in sight but also in sound.
It is everywhere
In every breath of air.
Just take a second to see
Soon you will believe me.

This isn't just pain,
This will make you go insane.
True heartbreak is deep within the soul,
You forget every life goal.
The pain is indescribable.
You are no longer reliable.
Every part of your being is destroyed
You just become a void.
But this isn't the end.
Open up and tell a close friend.
You are not alone,
Don't forget to reclaim your throne.

This year has just been ****

So many deaths and now this stupid virus hit.

I'm ready to ******* quit.

All I can do is sit

Let the **** world orbit.

Can I just forfeit?

So tired of this ****.

This year needs to go burn in a pit

We can all just sit

And watch it

Burn in the pit.

A Break
Eliza Mar 2020
This virus is causing panic
Can everyone just take a break
And stop being so manic
For **** sake
There was less panic over the Titanic.
Stay home for a day to take a break
The world is not ending, don't panic.
It's just a virus
Not something satanic
Don't get pissy with my opinion. I know it's deadly but so is the flu and any other illness. The world isn't ending.

I Know You Tried
Eliza Jan 2020
I know you tried
We weren't very close
But i still loved you.

I know you tried
You couldn't make it
That's okay.

I know you tried
Not sure why I haven't cried
Your note broke my heart

I know you tried
Another year would have hurt
You are happy and can breath now

I know you tried
And I know you will be by my side
The day I graduate

I know you tried
The day I graduate
I will look up and tell you I did it

I know you tried
But you will be by my side
Not in body but in heart and mind
I was never very close to you crazy old man but I still miss you. I know you tried to make it and its okay. I love you grandpa

Confused Emotions
Eliza Nov 2019
What is this feeling?
What is my mind revealing?
Why am I bleeding?
Where is the darkness leading?
My mind is impeding,
Everyone unheeding.
Are my words that misleading?

The beautiful blue of the sky.

The Many shades of green clinging to the trees.

Every color changes throughout the day.

Each season brings new colors.

All a perception of the sun and your eyes.

Take a good look at the nature around

It is truly beautiful, even at its worst,

The sun will always come back around

Symboling a new beginning.

Through all the pain

Just remember there's always a new day.

A new beginning to a life worth living.

The Breakup
Eliza Oct 2019
The pain of losing their trust
The mistake of someone else's lust
The lost love feels as if the heart is crushed.
A life planed with him
Now so grim
The hope for happiness is slim.
There are so many things that remind her of him.
The sun seems to dim
As memories of him
crach in, her eyes start to swim.
She is hanging on by a thread
Remembering what he said
Wishing she was dead.

The young girl
Her hair in a wild swirl.
The cement bench beneath her
The past three hours just a blur.
The freshly dug grave
She was told to be brave.
Her sister lay Six feet under
The girls mind began to wander.
"Who would miss me if I joined her?
Which would they prefer?"
That night her mind went wild
Of course she had to be the foster child.
She found some rope and put it to use
The young girl made a noose.

The overwhelming feeling of drowning
The emotions are surrounding
My lungs are collapsing
Time is elapsing
The panic

A smack
Back to reality
Where is my mentality
What triggered my insanity
Its caused by general inhumanity
I enter this one into a poetry contest on Wattpad and got second place :D

He lay staring up at the stars
The dewy Grass beneath his black coat.
Pulling up his sleeves, he reveals the scars.
Wondering if there should be another on his throat.
He thinks back to a time when we called the moon ours.
On his skin, he wrote
The name on his tongue sours
His heart raced as he wondered when they last spoke
He thinks back to all the fowers
That went up in smoke.
Now the thought makes him remember the arguments when they spoke.
His pillow still harnesses the midnight showers
He now lay to stare at the moon for hours.

She stares into the shards lying upon the floor,

Blood slowly drips from the cuts on her hands.

Then comes a knock at the door,

Unmoving, she watches the blood leave her body and only then she understands.

She knows the happiness death can bring, soon she will not feel any more.

Her mom opens the door,

She finds her precious daughter on the floor,

******, with a broken mirror and a **** across her throat,

With no trace of sorrow or pain, her mom thought "could there have been an antidote?"

Tears continue to poor

More and more.

She lay, limp within her mother's arms

Unmoving, she slowly fades from the warmth of life,

She hears ringing as if there were alarms,

Her mother gets up and leaves, returning with a knife

She lay, her daughter wrapped in caring arms,

She cries just before taking her own life.

                                                                                             'Drip'

The beautiful sound of rain
Engulfing my brain.
Thinking of the rain,
Causes nothing but pain.
He was everything but love was slain.
The rain
Like a hurricane
Leaving destruction and pain.
The rain
Is why I am insane.

"I must go tend to the roses," he said

but when they found him he was already dead.

The beautiful white roses now stained red,

they panic at the sight of their brother laying, yet not a single tear is shed.

The family knew it was all in his head,

the depression and voices are the reason he is now dead.

They stand, looking at the cut upon his wrists with every word unsaid,

unlike most families, there were no tears, but smiles instead.

Knowing that he had finally escaped the voices in his head.
