Beauty.
It comes in every shape,
Every size.
Colors.
Brown versus hazel,
Blue against green.
Amber and Gray,
It surrounds me.
Artistry of the world,
Whether thick or thin.
Tall or short,
A delicacy in life.
An appreciation of grace,
Which holds a charm of passion.
My eyes focus,
And pinpoint the allure.
And then, there are reflections.
Detached mirrors,
Showing only an abstract of truth.
Attributes distorted,
Askew yet distinct in error.
Beauty becoming a fugitive,
Consumed by comparison.
Analyzing elegance,
The contrast superior.

Earth. It rains around me,
And piles at my feet.
These feet. Weighed down,
Unable to move.
As if they are taking root,
And all I can do, is observe.
Is the sky falling? No..
That blue isn't the sky, it's her eyes.
Dust and debris, fill my lungs.
Walls of ground crush me, as I sink in the sand.
A second shovel appears,
And my fate is sealed.
A last glance into the blue, to find it gone.
To find you.
The two of you, hand in hand.
Looking down to the grave that lives.
No coffin of comfort, only rubble and rock.
Gagged by grime.
Silenced by soil.
Memories of my last breath,
As I drown in filth.
Buried alive. Lost forever.

In times of distress,
Only one thing to call my own.
Now as I break,
My safety has been overthrown.
Tarnished linen,
A scent that stains.
An inconsiderate trigger,
Without permission to explain.
Tainted comfort,
Tangles around my soul.
Sacred spaces,
Now only a black hole.
Once warm and inviting,
Now frozen and cold.
I can't wash away the pain,
Which forces my body to fold.
An origami state,
Is the name of the game.
Complicated transitions,
When I'm the one to blame.
And now where I lay,
My head to rest.
Memories of intrusion,
Marks me second best.

A long passage,
Lined with doors.
Each step taken,
Bringing me closer to horror.
I passed the threshold,
Your hands cupped my face.
An illusion of love,
A faux embrace.
Your fingers found my mouth,
And pryed it open wide.
My favorite laugh,
Echoed as I cried.
Tools of destruction,
Ripped root from gum.
Drowned in blood,
Pinned under your thumb.
Blood on your hands,
****** by hour.
As each door opened,
My flesh devoured.

Constant vigilance,
Accompanies a price tag of loyalty.
Less than loneliness,
Greater than Royalty.
A sum of broken pieces,
Scattered on the floor.
Never whole,
Forever more.
Ready the catapult,
Arm a response.
Being who you are,
Awards you bronze.
Waves of Salted envy,
So heavy eyelashes tear.
Medals aren't granted,
To those who can't compare.

An avalanche of hope,
Tumbling to the ground.
Nothing has changed,
Only sorrow is found.
No one will see,
And no one will hear.
Suffocating silence,
Accompanied by fear.
With broken faith,
Deconstruction begins.
A separation of small,
Hiding behind forced grins.
Every day coming with loss,
But never defeat.
Your face is my constant,
Which no one can compete.

Longing,
Yearning desire.
A definition that can't compare,
To the ardor in my veins.
Your lips, mesmerizing,
Your scent, succulent.
My eyes land on you,
And stick like glue.
My fingertips itch,
For that electricity.
The shock I get,
When I touch your skin.
My favorite flavor,
I thirst for you.
