I came from a galaxy
But I ended up here
Where I met a young one
Who I grew to like

I kept a diary
And wrote my feelings
One by one
Words began to appear

One night, I had a dream
Where I met the darkness
We stared together
"Crybaby," it called me

I woke up, with him at my side
He was still my friend
But, deep down, something wasn't right

I told him about the dream
I don't know, I don't know
A voice was heard, it wasn't his
I cried, and only he heard me

A drawing of us and the ocean
It was beautiful, but I couldn't say
The darkness called out to me
01001000011001010110110001110000

The darkness saw me again
A place known as Eigengrau
A shade of black, not known but beautiful
And I fell into the sea

01010111011010000111100100111111

I knew I wasn't a crybaby
My friend knew that as well
He cared for me, no matter what
He was a friend

I felt faint, so very much
Why must I feel this way?
The darkness is aware of me
And I can't do anything

I felt sick, so very much
The darkness felt pity
Did he feel love for me
A forbidden love, it seems

0100111001101111001011100010111000101110

I knew about his love for me, and I did too
My cheeks grew redder

I'm fine, I'm fine

My friend could be stupid

I hit him, I hit him

Does he still like me?

But

but

i needed the darkness

i needed eigengrau

why am i so cold

help me

there's a crack in my face

no

no

Now we're here, together
I don't need my old friend
All I need is the darkness and myself
In the cold, black ocean I call my happy place

010100100110100101100111011010000111010000111111

I'm sorry about before, I was blinded with love
My friend was there, but I doubted his efforts
Was he really that nice?
The darkness was nicer

After all, he gave me a beautiful sword

But then, I saw him

01000001011011100110010000100000010010010010000001101011011010010110110001101100011001010110010000100000011010000110100101101101

I love the darkness, and it loves me back

I never wanted to **** him.
I really was a monster, and I was too blind to notice.
Why, why? Why must this happen to me?

Save me.
The darkness wants me. It lusts for me.
I shouldn't lust for it back.
I don't want to fall into insanity.

Save me, please.
From these bloodstained pages.
My shell, it'll come off, but...
I don't want it to.
I'm so cold.
I don't like this.
Save me, please.

Save me!
My shell, it's coming off!
I don't know how to stop it!
Someone, anyone!
NONONONONONONONONONONO-

Eventually, all that was left was darkness.
And me.
Together.

FOREVER.

Bounded by time, by space, for eternity.
My red eyes illuminating, glowing.
Forever, we shall stand.
In Eigengrau.

I wasn't a monster.
I am not a savage.
I am a knight, protecting the darkness from the light.
Forever, until the end, we shall stand.
The black, empty flowers blooming.
An old diary stands, unopened for years.

The darkness and I would fly away, into the stars, loving each other.
Nothing would tear us apart.
And all who opened it, would suffer.

Another night, another period in solitude
At least, that's what I think
Everyone's asleep, counting the stars in their dreams
But the stars I count are all real

Silver mane, eyes of rubies
You seemed to have came out of a painting
And a heart not of stone, but of gold
That cared for every being I could think of

She caught me in her web, but she meant no ill will
That woman was proof kind spiders could exist
If only she could've stayed forever, with me
If only...

However, it wasn't meant to last
The battles threatened the safety of her
I promised I would protect her 'till the end of my days
Alas, it wasn't enough

A single slash, and you fell
A sobbing screech sadly cut short
Laying on the ground, you rubies fading
My loved, fading away

And now I bask in the eternal night
Writing this moonlit requiem
For no one in particular.

The gray arch stayed, broken
It could not survive the fall
Now it's here; in ruin
If only I could've saved it.

I've seen this arch a thousand times
Been here before I was born
Civilization loved the arch
But now, they're gone.

I did not know where they went
I hope it was somewhere nice.

Wildflowers grew near the arch
Yellow, orange and green
I picked them up; then dropped them
Now's not the time for flowers, I thought
Then walked away.

The fall was devastating
I did not know what happened, but
Destruction lay in its wake.

And desolation was born.
I am sorry if this made you sad.

The twilight sky gives off feelings, of...
Amor, is that the word?
Regardless, a feeling lingers in my heart
And I don't know what to call it

Worry,
curiousity,
fear,
animosity,
sickness,
innocence,
thoughtfulness,
thoughtlessness,
and everything in between

For him,
My sweet son of yore,
The knight that would do anything for the safety of mine
And for his kingdom too,
I shall sing this twilit lullaby.

A blanket on your body,
A pillow to rest your head,
And a book to read the stories
Of love, fear, and dread.

And when you fall asleep,
It's when the madness begins to resound.

Your mother, your guardian, your angel
Like a golden goddess, with her sword,
To cut away the fear.

She, too, shall sing this twilit lullaby,
And with her sword, shall vanquish the madness and fear.
Part 2 of my trilogy. There's also a reference to one of my older poems.

A sweet sponge cake
With snow-white icing
And a single candle
As big as a basketball

The table's covered in silk
Confetti all over the walls
And the floor, too
It's time to celebrate

The candle lights up
They're hesitant
Too good to eat, they think
Noisemakers distract them

But there's no noisemakers to be found

One of them grabs the knife and sighs
It has to happen
The other make a wish
And the room goes dark

The knife makes a deep cut
Unexpectedly, jam comes out
They're scared
Invisible noisemakers continue to play
The cake remains still, unaffected by time

The one with the knife did not know what to do but throw it
And it hits another, but not the cake
Jam falls, drop by drop

The silky tablecloth gets ripped
It was never strong enough
Noise grows deafening

The birthday child cries
This went in an unexpected direction.

Flowers share their golden bloom
I know everything'll be okay
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

I sing songs inside of my tomb
"You have to stay in there," they say
Flowers share their golden bloom

I already know about my certain doom
The skies turn a brilliant gray
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

I can't sleep in this bedroom
I think thoughtfully about today
Flowers share their golden bloom

Soldiers share a final legume
Bombs fly in a beautiful array
And they'll get rid of all my gloom

Blood splatters, a red abloom
This would be further known as D-Day
Flowers share their golden bloom
And they'll get rid of all my gloom
A tribute to D-Day. I am aware that it happened months ago.

Of the disposed
I give a rose
To all I see
Remind me of my beauty

But now, I know
How much you loved me so
The happiness I feel
Is sympathetic, synthetic

Golden threads
I spin every day
Why do you look for me
Can't you see

I'm not pure and fair
My eyes are dull and I am scared
Why do you love me so
When sadism is all I know?

Come, and know why
I feel this way
A sharp knife lands on your arm
Don't be shy and stay

Please don't run away
Do you know why you want me?
Open up your eyes and see
This elation I feel
French readers might understand the title better.

Cinders and ashes cover the ground
Mama and papa nowhere to be found
I scream out loud; no, there's no sound
Oh where, oh where, could they be

Mama and papa nowhere to be found
Could they be singing my lullaby
Oh where, oh where, could they be
Please, cry out that old melody

Could they be singing my lullaby
I shant go far from the truth
Please, cry out that old melody
The song that reminds me of you

I shant go far from the truth
I know they'll be sleeping with stars
The song that reminds me of you
That one last tune from afar
Another day, another pantoum.

When all the babies cry
And the pelicans sing
What will they bring
To the table, oh my
Right before my eyes
They'll crown me king
Dancing around a swing
Do I get my prize?

I know the grass is green
And that blades are sharp
My history is clean,
Not a sin to be seen
But what's a work of art
Is blood on the screen
I know this doesn't make sense.

One, two, three, four, five, six.
Six fireflies were in my jar.
Smiling, I ran to the arch.

I told him, "The bugs will make you happy."
The arch didn't move.
I tilted my head.
"Stupid arch, be happy."
The arch still didn't move.
I stomped my foot in rage.

"Be happy!"
I looked down and saw some pretty flowers.
I picked them up and threw them at the arch.
"Arch, please be happy."
Arch, please move.

Please, please be happy.

I knelt down and sobbed.

My life was never the same since the fall.
I lost everything.
My house, my parents, my friends.
Now this arch is all I have.

And even then, I don't think it'll be enough.

French class is boring, my friend thinks so too
She says it's tedious, and she would cut class
But then she said, "How about you?"

The teacher is strict, and yet she was new
Her somber shrieks could break the strongest of glass
French class is boring, my friend thinks so too

One day she had a cup of brew
And she drank it when she was full of sass
But then she said, "How about you?"

She knew the drink was out of my view
And she said that the cup was made with quartz glass
French class is boring, my friend thinks so too

She reminisced about her time with a saucy beau
And how he was a sergeant first class
But then she said, "How about you?"

And now she looks at skies of blue
And no longer she did harass
French class is boring, my friend thinks so too
But then she said, "How about you?"

A creamy raspberry sorbet

Jam
You looked outside the window and smiled
"Can you make some jam for us?"
Obliging, you did so
You didn't know what flavor they wanted

So you did every single one
Blueberry, raspberry, banana
A plethora of colors comes into view
You always wanted to be an artist
To embrace the colors you see
A chance to be happy
But you're stuck making jam for them
Forever and always

At least it tastes good

A castle of dark, a castle of light
I wonder what'll happen today
Brave men and their steeds ready to fight
From night until the day

Deep inside, there lives a soul
Singing a harmony
Banging his hands on a keyhole
Dear James L'Carmany

Burning eyes, eventful fate
Hope will never die down
"Goodbye my dear, I'll be here by eight"
He would eventually drown

James knew in his heart
This day would a brand new start

I called her a golden goddess
As she walked up to me
With the sword in her hand
She cut away my fears

As she walked up to me
I couldn't help but smile
She cut away my fears
And didn't leave a trace

I couldn't help but smile
As she held me in her arms
And didn't leave a trace
Hypnotizing with her charm

As she held me in her arms
With the sword in her hand
Hypnotizing with her charm
I called her a golden goddess
I felt like writing another pantoum today.

In a time so long ago
There lived a girl
By the name of Octavia

She was shy and mute
Not so much mute,
As just did not like to speak

Her parents were worried
She did well in school
But

Her social skills

She combed her long black hair at night
Quiet as a mouse
In the small, dark little house
She rested

Her parents had enough
She could not function in society
They locked her up
And told her to stay

She did not mind
After all, there were books
And a comb for her long black hair
To comb at night

Every day, she did just that

The town she lived in
f  orgot  a  bou  t h   e r

Bit by bit
She became unnerved

"Octavia, Octavia,"
She heard the voices say
"Why don't you come out and play?"

She shook her head, and read her book.

The voices stopped, then returned the next day.
Nothing else could be heard

Then, footsteps

Could someone be there for her?

No

They weren't

Eventually, the voices grew forms

Shadows of children, smiling and laughing
Octavia was wary and bitter
She did not like them
She combed her hair

One of them took the comb and ran
Octavia cried
Her hair would no longer be beautiful
Her beauty would

She paced throughout the room, reading her books
They became boring to her
Reading the same things, over and over again
Her bitterness grew stronger

She saw an old book, torn from time
And tears formed in her eyes
Weeping, she ripped a page out

And then another

And another

and another

another

more, more

All her books were gone
Nothing to do
Except listen to the voices
She knew that they were messing with her
She did not know how to stop them
They held her hand tight
And told her,
"Play, play, don't be scared"

And then, she stopped being scared

Her parents, regret in their hearts
Unlocked the door, and found nothing
Except a girl with unkempt hair
And a trail of ripped pages

She looked at them, and a smirk grew across her face

"Don't you see? I play with the voices, and the voices play with me."
A bit dark.

Have you seen a young girl,
By the name of Octavia?
Intertwined with shadows,
Of playful voices of madness

Do you remember,
When everyone forgot her?
And she was left to wilt
Like a flower in the snow

Do you remember,
When she stopped being scared?
As the madness and hysteria became no different
In the eyes of lost Octavia

Do you remember,
The eldritch one who's Octavia?
That unsettling childishness of the maddened girl
Lingered in her parents' hearts

Have you seen a young girl,
By the name of Octavia?
She's running the corner store, smiling so sweetly
With a torn book in her hand...

My eyes are dull
Darkness flows fast and
Steal my heart and
Fly away

Darkness flows fast and
They'll go avast again
Fly away
Just like the hawks

They'll go avast again
Tooting the horns
Just like the hawks
They've found their prey

Tooting the horns
Searching for love
They've found their prey
Bombs away

Tooting the horns
Steal my heart and
They've found their prey
My eyes are dull

The ruins of the world were in their hands.
They suffered, and they did not object.
They were shattering, bit by bit.

One of them looked up, and purred.
A battle for the ages, it ways.
5 against 1.

The fate of the universe was in their hands.

It was reset many times before.
This would be the last.

A final strike, for them.

For the knight.
For the mage.
For the redeemed.
For the young.
For the spirit.

For them, it was a victory.

But at what cost?
This is a bit different from what I usually write. Contains spoilers.

Rockhoppers cry in hunger
Like you in that diner
A plate of fish, raw and cold
Was all that appeased you

Like you in that diner
Candlelight burning bright
Was all that appeased you
Lusting for more

Candlelight burning bright
Could not satisfy your gluttony
Lusting for more
Did the fish taste good?

Could not satisfy your gluttony
A plate of fish, raw and cold
Did the fish taste good?
Rockhoppers cry in hunger
I don't really like seafood, to be honest.

The snowy mountains of old
Rose up above the top
Teeny tiny raindrops came
Onto the ground, plip plop

Children young and old run
Ready to slip and fall
Once they saw their bruises
They would whine, scream, bawl

There was woman in a house
Known as Ellie Regard
She ran a petite flower shop
And once dated a bard

She said, "I know you're having fun
But worry about this town
Soon the rain will grow plentiful
And then we will all drown."

Not heeding her warnings
They shunned her little shop
They threw dung and wet clothes
On the ruby red rooftop

Ellie could not help but scream
And run far away
Into a dark and cold cave
Where she would stay

It came to the point when the rain
Grew a staggering whole foot
Frantically, they tried to counter it
By throwing bags of soot

Ellie felt a dark force
Whispering to her ear
She hit it in a fit of whiplash
And begged, "Please disappear!"

Shots rang out into the night
The only source of light

Ellie screamed once more and ran
And saw the flooding town
In a livid shock she said,
"I knew you all would drown!"

But she herself was swept up
Struggling for air
A wooden oar that had splintered
Took hold of her red hair

She knew that she would not live
And knew that she could not forgive

I look at the old shop
It only closed a few days ago
I remembered it by name
And the people that worked there
Their names were Jane and Harold
A couple who started the business on their honeymoon
A simple store, selling simple things
Coats, towels, brooms
And yet I always came
So they could be happy

However, money was tight
Few customers ever came
The two grew worried
They couldn't keep up, but they tried to
Sold all their belongings, just so they could be happy
Jane was infertile, but she knew the shop was her baby
When she cried, Harold cried
And eventually, they let go

I walked to the empty storefront
Sometimes I could see the two smiling
I'm sorry about my absence.

And take me to the moon

And we'll run away, yeah
So we could eat the stars

I'm feelin' pretty tipsy now
