Driving without destination
Going for the sake of going
Existing between here and there
Where nothing is happening
Yet progress is being made
We’re still moving forward
Enjoying the journey
Capturing horizons.

When you speak, the listener understands you. When you write, the reader understands themselves.

Ma Cherie
"Wish I could go back
when things were
just stinky
yucky, smelly
you know, in innocence of yesterday's years
better to be blissfully unaware then painfully so?
I didn't realize I'd stepped in ****."

The freckles scattered across your skin
Are like the stars upon the sky
Each one is special, unique
Different but still dazzling

There are too many to count
But you will try anyway
Getting mixed up somewhere
Between the moon and the milky way

They are all so beautiful
And are like no other
So don't try to cover them up
Or hide them from the world

*You never know,
One of those stars might be a galaxies
Ever since I was little I really hated all my freckles and it wasn't until recently that I started to accept them as part of who I am.
Agar zindagi kay samundar may
Kabhi toofan na atay
Kya hum kabhi zindagi ki kashti koi chalana seekh patay
(Urdu and Hindi.)

English translation

If there were no occurence of storms in the sea of life
Would we ever learn to steer the boat of life?
though weary be
this shapeless loneliness,

knowingly held
in love and light,

doth casts in stone
the shape of hope

where there once
was naught

Ja
You begged for my heart
So I gave it to share
But you snatched it away
And left me bare

I asked for it back
Or else I would die
But you didn’t care
You just said goodbye
BOEMS BY JA 505
On cloudless moonlit nights
When the world is silver and darkest blue
And silence seems to reign supreme
If you stretch your hearing inwards
You will hear the distant moans
Of long lost lonely dreams
Homeless and obsolete
Fading away
To become endless shadows

I have this friend across the pond
As bright as clear-night stars
Intelligent and talented
And faster than souped up cars

But she has her flaws, alas
As all the best poets do
I know this to be a fact, of course
Who hasn't got one or two?

After all, it has to be said
Perfection is lack of character to me
So I'm keeping my eye on my talented friend
And watch as her mind flies free
