Winds whisper through shaking leaves
As dandelions dance around you and me
In the autumn breeze
My hearts an open ocean
Yeah, you’ll see,
like waves caress the sand
We’re connected hand in hand
With you, that is where I stand
I’m proud to be called your man
Sunset skies reflected in your eyes
I’ve been falling for you
Baby, I’ve fallen for you
Her soul is beaming through
I feel the chemistry build up inside

Sensations tingle from deep within
Just like air need to breathe you in
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Fill me with hope, fill me with strength
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in
Fill me with passion, fill me with love
I’ve got you girl, and that is enough
Fill me with light, fill me with joy
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in

Gotta song coming on,
Music in my bones
hearts synchronised
to a beat all their own
Just like stars, the nights are ours
Just like rain, you give life to me
You help me grow
You’re the knowledge
I need to know
The power you’re sending
From your magnetic connection
Electrified, re-energised,
vital signs come alive

Sensations tingle from deep within
Just like air need to breathe you in
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Fill me with hope, fill me with strength
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in
Fill me with passion, fill me with love
I’ve got you girl, and that is enough
Fill me with light, fill me with joy
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in

Beauty is found
Wherever you’re around
With style through grace
Your sweet cherry lips taste
The more I get of you
The more I get of us
Gets me hooked like a drug
You’re the bandage on my scars
I admire all that you are
Need you at my side
For the rest of time
I see us forever intertwined
Forever I want you to be mine
I see it in you, I feel it in me
I tell you all the things you need
Together we’re better
This is my never-ending love letter
For you

Sensations tingle from deep within
Just like air need to breathe you in
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Fill me with hope, fill me with strength
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in
Fill me with passion, fill me with love
I’ve got you girl, and that is enough
Fill me with light, fill me with joy
Yeah, girl, you’re my everything
Just like air need to breathe you in

Don’t worry if it is the end.
Even if it is the last time we
ever see each other.
I promise I’ll meet you
at the gates when you get
dropped off.
I’ll pick you up.
Spin you around.
Kiss you until my lips
ache.
My love,
my life is ending,
but I promise that
in the end
Your smile
Is all I need.
Not to be dramatic,
but you are the love of my life.

Love is kind
Love is patient
Love is not proud
Love is not rude

Love is beautifully
Love keeps us alive
Love doesn't get easily angered
Love doesn't ask why

Oh i recalled new beginnings of our love
Our first time we met
In the garden of Celebration
Our affection began
We made promises
We left a mark

Atmosphere so cheerful and cloudy
Birds singing so nicely
Sun smilling on us
People passing by, smilling

You shared stories
They were all worth it
Your hushed voice massaged my heart
Like a nice song breaks through my eardrum
Your eyes full of love
Took all my attention

The way you stared at me smilling
Melts my heart
I knew by then you the one
Our eyes connected like a magnet
I wanted to kiss first but was bit shy

Boom out of the blue
You pulled me closer
Our lips met
We kissed
We worry nothing
Was just me and you
Our moment
Our Galocher

We dance in the ashes like
Literary scavengers.
In the ruins and after rages
We draw the shreds of words and pages
Around our naked bodies like Blankets,
A quilt of the quintessential struggle
Which all people suffer
I'm not sure if I posted this before,  but it's have been a while. I wrote this not too long after reading "the Book Theif" which was wonderful
there once was a king,
with eyes like the sea,
pondering time beneath
an age old tree,
looking into a river,
checking the pilings
of his straight white teeth,

and upon this river,
with his wallowings
and tea,
there came a voice,
so soft and pristine,
"are you lost, oh master of the land?"

that at first glance he
took,
a beautiful reflection,
submerged in the brook,

"Oh why yes I am!"

he said,
with stars in his eyes,
and a blush for the books,

and he told the reflection
of his castles and his
wealth,
the will to die,
and the catalysts of
good health,
the drudgery and the liers,
the beauty of its spires!

and the reflection spoke softly,
it spoke of desire,
and it moved
as one,
laughing,
making fun,
greedily drinking words
for the gin of the sun,

"my home -too- is a beauty,
oh you would love it my dear!"

said the reflection,
with eyes so clear,
and it spoke of the darkness,
the bleakness too,
the ruined ships,
and the deep inky blue,

and the king's fear grew,
with his hand on his chin,
such long reaching corals,
and jellyfish too,
dimmed the desire to
submerge into such
bluish hues,

but the two lovers,
how tragic!
for how could they
say,
three words that belonged
to the shadows of yesterday?
and how could they unite
the sea and the land,
and prove their love in
the eyes of god's man?

One was all air,
and the other water,
a sacrificial stone,
and sheep for the slaughter,

"Oh love, such beauty, with eyes
so fair, the owner of my heart,
for you I will sacrifice air!"

and the reflection smiled back,
"of that you you must swear."

So the king in the shade,
caressed each grassy blade,
and  planned
and planned,
how to unite
the sea and the land,

and finally the king
sat up in horray,
for he would be the victor
of this fine day,
so he took down
a fine willow
and built a boat,
so his love,
his life would
forever be close
to his grand castle,
and its green
curtained tassels,

but the king had
an uncle,
as bony as could be,
who lusted for the throne,
found the king
sitting next to the sea,
and the king was drowned
before he could moan,
  there
             he bobbed,
and  the king   died
alone,

there once was a king,
who lays under the sea,
with blank blank
eyes,
and a throat full
of seaweed,
yellowing skin,
as fair as could be,
reaching out
for the world,
through the
abyss of the deep.
My grandpa always told me this 'fairytale', gave me nightmares for years to come.

The moon in the middle of the day,
dogs when they look at you with feeling,
too many coffee granules to keep in balance
the harmony between coffee *** and grain.

Finding Atlantis in your bath tub,
or solace in enemy arms,
the image of flightless birds that
are waxed too close to the sun to stay afloat.

Having a sleepover on Saturn,
or laughing through stomach cramps under water.
The feeling of salt burning your nostrils
to get back at your own humility.

Teachers living at home with their parents,
teddy's with one eye and patchwork smiles.
Wearing a pink dress to a funeral,
watching a loved one slip, slip, slipping away.
A balance of both the possible and impossible seem so far away.

If not for hellopoetry
I would have given up
The writing was starting to take its toll
Left me emotionally exhausted
I was forced to take a break
For all my energy it had drained
Sleepless nights, endless lines
Trying to switch off my brain
Left me depressed
When sentences formed
A story I'd tell
About my life in hell
Sometimes dramatised to a new level
Sometimes I have seen myself become the devil
All my emotions that stain the page
The blood, sweat and tears
Written into each line
Left me losing moments in time
And for this writing became a crime
Didn't feel like I was utilising my mind
Until recently I realised this was the only legacy
I would leave behind
I've seen this art in a whole new light
Through words on a page, I've shown my fight
I've shown all my emotions, I have been totally open
Gave my all in every line
Sprinkled in a flavour of rhyme
If not for hellopoetry all I'd have is blank pages
A mind full of lines, forgotten in time
Took some time to unwind
And that is when I realised
These writings and I are bound for life
I've learned to embrace this now
Finally proud of all my works,
how has it taken me this long
To fall in love with this art
If not for hellopoetry
An appreciation I would never have tasted
And this whole community I've embraced it
Don't care if you love or hate it
It's made me make some changes
If not for hellopoetry
There are talents I may never have uncovered
Some of us are still so young,
Still, more room left to improve
The elder ones raising us up
Understanding a whole new love for this art
I once said These lyrics were written in blood
Straight from the arteries from my heart
That metaphorically speaking
I spread all I am, all across the page
Bled the lead with what I felt
So much heart into every verse
All this time it was never a curse
It was something special I've been gifted
To get all these thoughts out of my system
If not for hellopoetry
I wouldn't be here...caught within this poetic atmosphere
