If I die in a school shooting
I'll never go home again.
My room will sit unused,
A capsule frozen in time,
A snapshot of how I was.

If I die in a school shooting
I'll never see my dog again.
She will sit at the front door
Waiting for me and wondering,
Why I never came home.

If I die in a school shooting
I'll never graduate from high school.
My yearbooks will sit stacked
Stopped short of their goal,
Missing years that should have been.

If I die in a school shooting
I'll never see my mom again.
She will sit distraught,
Planning a funeral
For a child taken from her.

If I die in a school shooting
I'll never see my friends again.
They'll sit together, missing me.
One empty seat among them,
A constant reminder of their loss.

If I die in a school shooting
I'll never see my little sister again.
She will sit through high school
Knowing I can't guide her through,
That she has to figure it out alone.

If I die in a school shooting
My school will be stained.
Pools of students lives will sit,
Blood tattoos on the brick structures,
Marks of death ground into it.

If I die in a school shooting
Everyone will wear black.
They'll send their thoughts and prayers
To a town marred by death,
Forever to be the home of a shooting.

If I die in a school shooting
Will the world change?
Or will I become one of hundreds
Of kids who have to die?
What will it take?

If things continue this way
Children will have to live in fear.
They'll look over their shoulders
Always worried and wondering,
If they'll die in a school shooting.
The state of Florida is now home to the two most deadly mass shootings in American history. Pulse Nightclub was attacked in my city, I have friends who attend Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland. My little sister often fears going to school. I'm afraid to graduate and leave her. I want to be able to protect her if something happens. I hate that we have a reason to be afraid... That it's reasonable to have these fears. I hate it so f*cking much.
If you are a suicide survivor
Inbox me your name
And I’ll add it to my tattoos of others

You guys mean the world to me
And I have my own name on my arm
Because I too, am a suicide survivor.
Inbox me your name. Make this go viral so I get names. Hopefully it inspires someone to fight a little harder. Anyone wanna join me?

If you understand I’m sorry. Stay strong friend.

Wowwww you scare me.
You make me shiver like stage fright,
and shake like the shore beaten waves,
You are like bruises on pale skin that perfectly match my lipstick,
You are the strongest buildings I've seen and I'm standing on top,
Deciding if I'll let you fall for me.

You scare me.
Your confidence is like foreign lands that I dream about but can't reach,
Yet you are trying to find me a home there,
You speak your mind,
you don't stutter and you don't over think anything,
You build walls around thoughts,
because you know you're right,
and you're not afraid of the dark.

You scare me with threats of comfort and ease,
'no tricks just us' you plea,
you are asking me to love you but you are shaking,

You don't scare easily,
yet I scare you.

Sometimes when you look at something hard
enough you can see its pixels,
when you spend to long focused and color starts to fade
and light becomes a blending tool.
Looking but not seeing.
When shape defines what you see,
and color is a first thought,
... and you've seen everything, or nothing.

Good morning young sky,
so pink and opaque as you awaken with the sun,
peeking through the blanket of clouds.

You make me smile as you gift me droplets of rain,
cooling my warm skin baked from the shine.

Your rich earthy smell fills up my holes that spout air,
making me whole again.

You keep my mind awake and my body safe,
knowing that whenever I look up you'll always be there.

Lunar
two fragile hearts made up of glass
everyone could see right through them both
only they themselves couldn't see the reality

both fell for each other
and whatever falls
will end up breaking

now those two once-glass hearts
shattered into a million emotional pieces

now those two once-glass hearts
will never find their missing parts

now those two once-glass hearts
have turned into nothing
but back into crushed sand
