One day you'll realise
That life is empty and hopeless
Whatever happens along the way to the grave
Doesn't matter - it is pointless.

You and I were born to die
So why live at all?
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
   To nothingness man shall return.

Walking down the field
Fragments in the sky
Stained by the teardrops
Falling from your eyes

In the garden blooms a flower
Under the glowing sun
Through your heart flows the sorrow
As the fables come undone

Who you are has many faces
But one face alone is not you
Even the moon has its own phases
And the sky isn't always blue

This is a cruel world:
listen up, speak no more.
If you are really smart
think before you move and trust no one.

Now the time is ripe, the earth has come undone
A gun from heaven is being pointed at all the guilty ones

If nobody is worthy of the good that is to come
Deliverance on earth won't be obtained for anyone.

Let justice be done
Though the Heavens may fall
The Kingdom has come

Your final fate cannot be outrun
.

The past is a frozen lake
The future, a distant dream
For which everything is at stake -
Or at least, that's what it seems.

In yesterday lie our regrets
Tombs named after the things we failed to do
Can you see how we are so full of ourselves
Thinking we have a purpose to attend to?

Do not worry about tomorrow, either
For all we have is today
Filled with worries and sorrows
You do not need memories to get in the way.

Knot in my stomach
Hands wrapped around my neck
Stuck in a nightmare
That never seems to end

The walls are closing in
I'm running out of time
Trying to escape the memory
Of an unspeakable crime

Bound by a loyalty
That my own body betrays
Becoming a casualty
Of his cruel promiscuous ways

Silenced against my will
Robbed of my integrity
Cursed with the knowledge
That there will be no penalty

Can I just rewind?
Get it all out of my mind?
But there were real monsters under my bed
They lulled me to sleep every night
