If love is life,

I’m dead long ago,

My burial is the longest,

Has been held for decades,

I, myself, making an audience,

Standing from afar hearing a song,

Pitched high but bearing nothing,

Whisper heard from the throng,

That that birth buried love,

Thus ended its fine tone,

But death’ll give over,

The life seized.
