They always come in waves;
Kamikaze planes, or sweet berceuse
Felo de se, or euphoria.
Go up.
No, go down.
Ice, then fire
Then, chaos
Like a pendulum,
swinging madly across a spectrum.

How could I have forgotten the color of your eyes?
Yet, I can still imagine the feel of your skin against mine; or, how you would move that strand of my hair out of the way before you kissed me.
And I remember the sound of you smiling on the other end of the phone when I would call in the middle of the night, just to say hello.
And I remember which song you said reminded you of me.
It reminds me of you, too.
I remember what it was like to call you mine... but, I have forgotten the color of your eyes.

I've my own dreams,
and my own desires.
Something for which I'm keen,
want to set the world on fire.

For now all that I know,
That if you don't find me,
In her eyes, lost I will be,
conversing silently.

*The wings of time are swift and relentless
They summon the winds of change like a sudden storm
That leaves nothing but memories in their wake
It is much too soon that we see how things are no longer what they used to be*

*In moonlight I watch the ocean ripples
Icy hues in clouds, over the water
Reviving in mind what's long forgotten
How close to perceive you once more
Reached to the margins of water
Mirroring the blaze of our vows
When clouds take thee
with its chronic fervor, they drift away
Long daunted, yet serene
Eye for an eye
Pulled me in one more time
Yield me bloodless...*

*Thinking back on the days gone by, when we were together
Intoxicated, young, in the face of stormy weather
So little we will notice
All the troubles that we miss
So carefree, together we grow
Not a care in the world, no...
Without warning, the feeling of having to say goodbye
The fine leaves of cold December started to die
Slight bend of numbers flood through our time
One even reckon on disclosing it was a crime
Quiet, like a calm storm
We slow down, left trails so warm
And blissful days are recovered
You speak for certain, that my flame's not like the others
Why do I sense the other end instead?
Fancy hearing anew, nevertheless
You have altered entirely, fresh you to boast
Never knew today would bleed the most
Convinced that change is what you ever need
Along with your love that mislead
The past is the past for a reason
Perhaps, I should have stayed frozen
Should have just let all the cards unfold
As it may be, nothing is to behold
Cause the past is the past for a reason
Shouldn't look back, learned a lesson*
