Along our journey
Carved in stone
The words read
"The path from here on,
Must be walked alone."
The mournful cry
Tears of betray
Laminating the path
One walks astray
But you and I
Need not have this faith
For even the pilgrims
Lose their way
Although lost and drifting in time
Through the desert's barren beauty
You are my saving rain
And it is true
Our trail may wind
But it shall never part
As you forever remain
The keeper of my heart

An alluring muse
That gracefully
Moved my soul
With her celestial tunes
The sun, too,
In awe of her divinity,
Bowed down
To herald the coming
Of a timeless beauty,
Of an ethereal glow,
Of y o u

The moon does not veil herself in the cloak of the night sky,
And whispers of no apologies for her flaws:
The craters, scars, and all else that manifests her.
In spite of her imperfections,
She shines with a light brighter than that of the seven heavens.

The lighthouse was planted with its roots
Close enough to the faint smell of the salty water
Yet, keeping a safe distance from the its vicious waves.
And much like the lighthouse,
Not even my shadow dares to
Dance past the line
Between the calming shore
And the mysterious sea.

And so, I awoke
Where no sorrows are awakened.
Distant galaxies sang, pranced, and danced in the glee of the night
Eon long, lost constellations realigned and with joyous relief
Whispered beneath the chill of the autumn air,
“Oh, sweet child o’ mine,
He has moved your soul to happiness.
He has given life a new understanding,
Love a new meaning.”
Undoubtedly, that was true;
For thine words are so sweet,
So kind,
And so pure.
And though the future is uncertain,
To awaken to your bliss…
I cannot imagine more heavenly than that
And in those moments of realization
My heart,
I promised to you.

And after all these years,
She finally found the love she's been searching for...
She found it within herself

Just remember that
Although you may feel insignificant
So do the stars
But look at how together
Those scattered moondusts
Light up the night sky
So beautifully

I tried strumming the strings of a broken guitar,
I tried rebuilding a city back up from its ruins,
I tried singing the words of a distant lullaby,
But had I known once a rose has tipped its head
Watering it would become useless;
I would've left our love's broken pieces
For the wind to come and sweep away.

It was the burdens of yesterday
And the uncertainty of tomorrow
That makes this place

Do not be fooled, darling:
For his lips
That taste like sweet wine
Will have you addicted
And his ocean blue eyes
Will drown you
Beneath its merciless waves.
