Canadian Been writing a little over a year, I'd say I've come a long way since I began. So enjoy!
If you could see the world through my eyes You might begin to understand How I'm not like many others Your feet will never fill my shoes You might say I'm unique There's only a few like me It makes it difficult To be certain it's what I want Could be solved By a trip to my mind Nowhere else to retreat And contemplate these thoughts And yes when my life comes down to it It isn't all that bad Might take some getting used to But I'll see clearly in the end If you could see the world through my eyes You might begin to understand How hard it is to see With my glasses in my hand

Blind-Sided
A feeling of cold leaves my body Flowing away as I step to the counter Just an extra large English Toffee please Quick, something warm! Sure, it might not be that cold outside But I still need my morning hit Of that sweet shit-coloured liquid We've all come to call coffee Could I get a refill? Guy behind the counter just stares incredulously At me, the customer no less Caffeine doesn't jitter me Cool wisps of steam rising from the cup And the sweet aromatic scent however, Jolts more shivers up my spine Than any lover could If you could choose any object to marry Pick coffee right away, wouldn't you? Don't get me wrong, I'd love going down on that But we shouldn't have to pay for love Having to gingerly leave it on the counter Nothing sadder to look at but an empty cup Buttoning up your jacket Stepping outside

Steaming Hot
Every night I gaze deep into your chocolate eyes Glistening in the moonlight teasing pesky fireflies With my own, blue as a deep ocean's way To show you plainly; all to simply say I'll hold you forever and never let go I'll run with you forever and never slow I'll kiss you softly under this moonlight I'll keep you warm, even on this frigid night They all mock our love, "But why?" they say To find true happiness in each other, day after day Staying together, showing the world that we're happy Side by side, hand in hand, a love all goopy and sappy Every night I'll lock together our wanting lips The taste and sensation a mighty feat We'll close our eyes, press our noses at the tips And squeeze together, warm with our roaring heat Breaking it slowly but only for awhile To say four words strung together in a smile Shedding a tear for love, not vain You'll respond with four more, under my rain "I love you Travis.." "I love you Ty.." <3

Every Night
The snow you fall, without remorse Coming down, right on your course What happens to you, right after you fall Is what happens to me, right after I call You get your answer, you fall with your brothers I sit here crying, wishing for others You fall on your own, by your own time I'm sitting alone, writing a rhyme You're always so new While I'm thinking of you The things I feel for someone so keen Makes me wish that I had been There, when you answered my call That I had left there, in that hall So yet again, snow as it falls I sit here wishing, in these halls You eventually answer, but there's no one there Not even me, to give a care If you had hurried, to return my favours Perhaps I would have eaten, different flavours But as it turns out, you weren't meant for me So I clipped off a branch, from my own tree I've found someone else, to fulfill that gap They've beaten your score, lap after lap You are old, compared to my new So good riddance to you, like an old shoe My new loves me, the way I loved you But now I love him, it's ever so true And just as the snow, falls from the sky I can hear you whimper, but please don't cry I may not love you as you do Me, but I'm sure there will be others You are my old, and he is my new So snow keeps falling, day after day Let it pick you up, hip hip hooray Feeling happy, is a feeling so pure So you will find your love This I am sure For I have mine, sweet as a dove You will find yours, look in the snow It never makes sense at first But keep on looking, they will show You both have, an equal thirst You'll love each other, as we loved each other But now that I have another You must find your own, to fill up your gap Find your own mate, complete that last lap The snow still falls, down from the heavens Eagerly waiting, for the odds and evens Of this world we've created to date You love your own, And I'll love my mate

What is love But of our own creation It binds us together In our own relation Love can't be blamed For what's happening to me For I love you And you love me The things that I'd do Just thinking of you Keep me awake every night Let me hold you tight I await that embrace From you my dear Please come a bit closer So I may whisper in your ear I cried last night Thinking of you Thinking of those things That I'd do for you Nothing is sweeter Than love so near That I lie awake at night Wishing you were here If only you'd been there That night that I called I wanted to apoligize For I was enthralled By your beauty I found it sublime Just like the flavour of a sweet sweet lime Love holds me here Wishing you were here Nowhere but here Right by my side I'm sorry I lied I flow like the tide Never the same Never too tame I shed a tear for you last night Wishing I could find your amazing light I shed a tear for you last night Wishing you were here with all my might I shed a tear for you last night Please hold me now, please hold me tight I'll never let go of this sweet kiss I'll never let go of this love I'll never let you free from my lips I'll never forget my love I shed my tears for you last night Stand by me, and love me this night

Shed
I never knew words Would allow me to feel Like I do right now thinking about how To express my feelings for you, maybe I could Say exactly what I wanted to say is That I love you like I could never live without the Love of someone like You.

Never Knew
We as lovers are unaware Of all the dangers we must fare Introducing love is such a chore Not like in old folk lore It always ends with happily ever after Not like true life, with the loss of true laughter So why is it that we even try To obtain that one, sweet piece of pie It's because we've set our goals Just like the kick, between the poles The ball may go in, you may fall in love But even then, when push comes to shove You gotta do what feels right, for yourself or for others Because we should treat one another, like sisters or brothers In doing just that, you'll feel so bold Just like the folk tale that's never been told Of the girl who did not have a happily ever after She lost it all, including her laughter No knight in shining armour, ever came To take away, this sweet dame She was left alone, up in her tower Left shedding her tears, giving the world a shower If that story has but one moral, it would be hence Force known, that there's not always a prince To pick you up when you're down, you'll just fall alone Singing by yourself, with no other tone Love can be found in this world we live in it's just never as easy as "start, ****** fin" There will only be build-up, to the eventual point Where two lives become one, they become joint Together in the harmony we know as love 'Tis almost as sweet as the one silver dove Whom flies atop our lives so clear And sees that spot, by the pier Where you met them, the one that you loved You'll never forget, the way that they shoved They shoved so hard, you, right into the water Yet you both found the time, to share eachother's laughter 'Twas merely a joke, you both would say Before continuing, on your merry way You loved eachother, like no other But pretty soon it became a bother You shared common interests, but not common goals The more you learned of eachother, you dug deeper holes What you thought was true love, was merely a sham What you thought was a bear, was merely a lamb Whom you thought was your love, was merely a pawn Whom you thought that you were, was merely a fawn Some try too young, to find that true love That they fall behind, the one silver dove Whom flies above our lives so clear Pulling ahead, tear after tear We as lovers, are unaware These are but a few of the dangers, we must fare

It's that time of year again When that rabbit comes, and just like a hen He leaves all those little chocolates and eggs For all the little ones, with their little legs They dart around the yard, zipping back and forth As though they were celebrating, July the fourth Little kids carry their Easter bags, and with glee They find the small chocolates, especially under the tree Once they've had their fun, and eaten their fair share They cuddle up with their families, warm as a bear To show how much they love eachother, towards their mum They throw the sweetest kiss, like a cake of *** On a day like today, that only comes once a year 'Tis not only Easter, guess what else is here A birthday for your mum, on this nice Easter day Isn't it nice to know, she's turning 40 today? Show your affection, for more than one reason Forgetting about today, should be considered treason I say, "Happy Birthday." You give me a smile And even I know that It's been awhile Since you last heard those words coming your way But what better time to hear them, than today It's true that I love you, these feelings are not locked in a chest Happy birthday, mum. Have I told you, that you're the best?

Easter Day
What shines down upon us, on this night But heaven's celestial ball of purifying light It shines amongst our world so clear Which makes me wonder, why it's here Was it around when monsters stormed the earth Will it be around when all collapses into ultimate inferno So why is it here, on this calm dark Beaming down on us Or do we shine upon it Perhaps we are the ones who shoot across the skies The ones who orbit Have we been told lies The truth drips from our eyes Forever eternal, the never-ending cycle Some can die, but time can live forever Many will die, but night will live forever Much like the pearls in the evening sky They're not always there These are the darkest nights Where shadows loom over all Night falls, but lunar does not Day breaks, but solar does not Night never breaks, day never falls Heaven's light may shine only once in a blue moon But midnights live forever

Midnights Live Forever
When two hearts meet, there is nothing that can beat Their feelings of eternal alliance Emotions fill the voids they used to have Like the clouds fill our heaven's ocean And they'll be together forever, much like Two trees, side by side, intertwined These two hearts, pure as the snow Fall waftly together, putting on a show The world around them, tries to pull them further apart One situation after another, trying to break a fragile heart But they'll hold on tight, never letting go who they love Believing in eachother, even when push comes to shove Their love stands triumphant in the eyes of those who oppose From the top of their heads, to the bottom of their toes Nothing can stand in the way of these two hearts So let's sit back, and enjoy the sparks
