i am to grow
At His mercy Reanimated to climb again Pushing out your hip, languid reaches or your arms, curving your spine to exude grace you expect to accompany knowing repetition. Art maker you have no art Your pile of creations reach deeply for the core of this world. You destroy yourself for the motions The feeling of barely surviving Brings you warmth But why must the flame come from burning you? ... Why are you timber for your own blaze?

Hypocrite
Wisdom teeth Pulling our natural teeth from our faces for our future Offense is the best defense Pull all four even if only one is troubling you Though the other three may be peaceful they are not useful Of no use to me Save the time, energy, and pain to feel them all at once It's better to really hurt for a moment than feel the dull absent presence for a while They may have been peaceful I should have asked to keep the one who tried to stay One, two, Four pieces I feel you deep in my face when you’re gone Now you’re charred biohazard material Ash that once was me Choking some stranger instead of a cigarette, Ouch.

Ow.
Dying petals adorn the sidewalk They're varying pigments document life's varying stages of leaving, Thwarts drafts of wind, their nature to revel in my gaze Not in act of personification, They are not the object of attraction No, But a messenger to the careful stepper, “Look up.”
