You linger just beyond my reach,
like moonlight, soft and low—
bright enough to light my way,
yet never mine to hold.
Our moments pass like whispered breaths—
And in the second that they end,
I find myself here, all alone,
missing you once again.

The poet's pen shall not confess this love; mortal eyes will bleed to read it, angels will fall to claim it and devils will consume it.
This love is forbidden by fate itself, cursed by time and despair; to feel it is to be sentenced to death — please tell me, how is that fair?

when I met you—
the stars shone brighter,
my restless ghosts fell silent,
and even the dark
held its breath,
hoping you felt the same.
