The snow, falling from the heavens as gracefully as butterflies in the spring, dusts the trees, the grass, the bushes the snowflakes are like flower petals, delicate yet beautiful each unique in their own special way, not one alike swirling down, landing on my nose, eyelashes, lips I twirl in the powdered sugar, the world disappearing around me I pick up a handful of perfect, glistening white snow, and pack it into a ball I take a bite, and the cold feels tingly on my toungue winter is finally here.

the sound of rain enchants my soul the smell of spring the sound of rain drumming against my window the sweet smell of flower buds being drenched by the subtle downpour i can't resist. i run outside i dance like it was my only chance to stay alive i feel the cool drops against my face i am showered by the sweet smell of the rain

Dancing in the Rain

the sound of rain enchants my soul the smell of spring the sound of rain drumming against my window the sweet smell of flower buds being drenched by the subtle downpour i can't resist. i run outside i dance like it was my only chance to stay alive i feel the cool drops against my face i am showered by the sweet smell of the rain

A World of Darkness

I wake, wishing, wanting, waiting for a new day it seems as if the golden beams coming from heaven will never shine as if the mockingbird will never sing as if the hope of light is only a dream i sit and stare into the vast darkness of the world around me in the world around me there is no hope there is no light there is only darkness there is only darkness
