Two lovers walk down a desolate street. On the river casts a shadow of three. Crowds adore the two, the water sees me As love marches through, Loneliness will stew. Noble to many, Devastating few. Happy ending, unheard cries. Till death do they part. Perfect- secret- lies.

Love Marches On
Am I the only one who noticed heaven fall? I go to the beach and find plastic where I once played. I live in a time where genocide & famine are last week's news. As I look to God to ask what happened, I see him hanging from the clouds; above a fallen chair. How am I the only one who noticed heaven fall?

The Day Heaven Fell
Was Pompeii lucky to find an empty room? Could God be hiding in an empty tomb? We'll push until we meet our doom. Curiosity can't be erased. Until we find the next place. But it is not all for good, Disease & bombs just cause we could. Famine without starvation. Salvation through stimulation. Can we ever stop this race? While humanity still has its case.

Come Unto these Yellow Sands
Three years and it's coming to an end. I thought I had a will that wouldn't bend. But you always seem to prove me wrong. I can't keep dancing to your song. Eventually my feet will wear down. Until I fall before, knees to the ground. At some point I would've led a life with you. But now I don't think I'd see it through. And without you I feel so useless, But to happiness you not conducive.

Over and over, have we been here before? Plato said only dead see the end of war. Fight back and forth what could it all be for? Eight billion breathers; with the same features Red makes the green for those who sit above. Have we so soon forgotten how to love? Fight for the people that you've not heard thereof. Eight billion breathers; with the same features Eight billion people; we could be peaceful...

Untitled 2
I was born into this ocean, just like you. All treading water: only thing to do. I swam and swam and swam, keeping my head held high. Trying, trying, trying; trying not to die. One day I look around, Rescue will not be found. I asked myself why: Should I even try? So I stopped. Descending down deepened hue, Surrounded by the ocean's blue. And for a second I thought I might Try swimming back, back to the light. That when I realized, unlike my father, I breathe better underwater!

Above the Water
One day we could walk to Elysium But only you would cross that flaming river. I'd hold the singed petals Of those heavenly blooms, Just as now I hold the remains of what once was. For you thought I crossed the river Styx and frolicked among the rolling hills. But I've been here in Tartarus, waiting for my time to end. Charon is my only friend, because we enjoy eachother's silence. My suffering is not much to him, but it is great to me. Alighieri passed me long ago. Both me and him looking for a Beatrice, at least he still has hope. How could I call you from that paradise? To be with me on the jagged cliff of a bottomless chasm. Nyx calls to me through the void. My legs grow weak as night seduces me. As I slip from the edge chaos surrounds me. Floating in darkness I find myself at peace. I've lost view of Elysium but I do not miss it. The company of me is complete Just my thoughts and this pen is all I need -Skofeld
