22/M Hungry and sleepy
You drink from my fine China Traced with a million gold lines Sculpted with Sakura designs Milk, honey and moonshine A youthful spirit very well-refined On your second serving, I lace your cup with chocolate chips You take your drink with several sips Reel me in, grip me by my hips Then kiss me gently on my soft pink lips Now I pour and then I spill On my fresh-linen sleeves Embroidered with Cherry Blossom leaves Azure blue silk at the seams A misty waterfall stream You drop and shatter my tea cup You inhale the gold dust and grow —— A million gold pieces scatter below Like a Hanabi Matsuri fireworks show In disarray… Fallen and fractured like crystalline snow

life gave me all of its lemons some more bitter than the rest yet somehow i forgot how to make lemonade and invited an unwelcome guest they sit at my table well-dressed, grab a lemon and pick at the zest until they reach the core and lose their appetite at the acidity they try to ingest then i served my lemons compressed added sugar afloat at the crest they sipped on the liquid then got to the bottom and expressed their aching distress now we plant orange trees to contest all the yellow lemons that possessed my citrus Eden with fruits and flowers and now sweeter juices to digest

In the beginning, there was light! An infant, hopeful galaxy Tailored with milky nebulas, Twinkling stars, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and Mars The Luz Del Sol —— That which was ours The moon and the Earth’s to share. Then, In a prolonged eclipse The Luz was lost… A shadow that the moon had cast The centuries that it would last The light years and eons amassed An era of silent darkness… So, A lone astronaut Out to venture the cosmos Set foot on the moon, The reflector of Luz, An inspector whose Two feet planted on A dim crystal of blue To mark a remarkable feat Earth’s greatest adversary: The Moon, A receptacle who captures our Sol. Skeptical of this spectacle, This rocketeer had a mission: To reclaim the Sol From our opposition. And to successfully carry This acquisition, He declares and proposes One proposition: “In Earth’s summer solstice The Sol’s greatest rays May not be stolen Much to my dismay So let it be even stronger After the rain Or the winter days When my Sol’s been away For far, far too long.” So, In the summer I want to see the sunshine I want to drink lemonade I want to sing, dance Scream and parade Because the summer is full Of the brightest days And I didn’t Luz my Sol

Luz Del Sol
Dear Mon chéri, I wrote you one thousand words And you sent me back three I delivered a letter Hoping you’d get back to me Days went by —— And a few centuries… Several months passed —— Then an eternity… I counted the hours Waited impatiently… Then, You might’ve replied One word Two words Three... I write back a million more But then it’s the same thing A million words unread And my books you didn’t read That I dedicated to you And you only. Indeed. But dear Mon Chéri, I like you. I think? Sincerely, <3 (heart: less than three) And to whomever it may concern :)

I found ten reasons to hate myself and you gave me ten more Then that sum manifested and multiplied by four All of the things from the eighty before became something ugly that I continued to explore So, it made twenty more reasons and now one hundred’s the score Its all just a cycle a never-ending encore With a total too whole and complete to ignore With all these reasons nothing is complete Ugly and incomplete

If I wander any more, then I’ve seen and felt everything When I wander I’m at war Fighting voices in the boxing ring Why I wander, I’m not sure I don’t wander for anything But I’m not lost, I really could never be Those people with chains they scowl at me Whose chains would weigh my wandering feet Purple with bruises by the terrain they meet Longevity, I do not wander in futility Wondering, do I wander aimlessly? Wandering, naught but a title of vagrancy If not with a purpose, I wander purposefully But I’m not lost, I never was, I never will be

Not All Who Wander Are Lost
I wrote you a book You threw it under your bed You skipped over the pictures And skimmed what it said You’re the moon You’re not the brightest And you haven’t even the slightest Idea of what I’m trying to tell you, but When you stop pretending That this unending Never-ending cycle Of trying to make you feel What I want you to feel Has been really imaginary Then I’ll be the most Successful writer But once again I wish you would read my book

The Moon Can’t Read
My tear ducts are like leaky faucets trickling against the inferno that infests my eyes Wind gusts tease and bellow the flames that engulf my pupils With each wink and blink the droplets dance atop the hellish fumes Direly tranquilizing the fiery daggers that pierce my eyes

What if you were God? You could find my prayers addressed to you unsent, You could laugh at the hysterical things I’ve dreamt, You could spy on where I am and where I’ve went, The things I’ve done and the things I’ve yet, The things I cherish or want to forget, And in the end, I am only content I do what I want, I don’t want to repent.

Dear God
At 830 PM I think and then I think too much And think of them I can't sleep I think of sleep I think of you I think of me I think that I think at The worst times My worst times — Times that happened Times I want to happen Time that ends Times that began Times where I had no more time I had no more rhymes To make a poem make sense
