There's a side of you that you're hiding Every star's not enough to wish on Your existence becomes pain But isn't that how you were trained? People crowd; ignore them like the dead Mark the end of a deep depression You keep falling prey to hundreds Can you ever somehow forget this? A century passes, but resilience never returns Exhausted every option Maybe if you vanished, something would change Emotions, disagreement Heavy harm and lovesickness I try to be quiet, it's just like I vanished Nothing has changed Some people admire your bravery They don't know how much you hate this — And want to be alone But I want you to take me along There are things that I have wondered for so long Seasons change, but you never see flowers in bloom No matter what, your eyes indicate the doom Can't seize the day, because to you, the day disappears Won't get attached; things are only transient here I wish that I could somehow make my understanding known You're just like me; you need a heart to counteract the stone

Hanging high over your head Foreign lights burn red Your face feels numb Shoot it in slow; feel it take hold Forgotten by those who matter the most You know the streets — you are you're own host Wishing on stars that burned out long ago In the garden of night you muster All of the friends you have are strangers Trying to cover the spots, the blisters Doing everything to not remember Will you find your family? Do you even care now? 'Cause you have stories that some won't believe But you can't overlook these memories Assimilate with those craving a home Because when moon takes the sun, you're cursed to roam And wish on stars that burned out long ago
