Some days,
I feel everything at once
Other days,
I feel nothing at all
But I smile
even though I feel sad
I try to be strong
even though I'm weak
I am quiet
but I am shouting inside my head
I tell you I am fine
but I'm not
I tell everything
of what's nothing,
and nothing
of what's everything
I hide the things
that matter the most

for being what they want you to be
not for being who you really are
the person they like isn't the real you
it's the one they want you to be
to make them like you
'be not you'
but if you are not you
you won't like you
what matters is that
you be the real you
be what you really want you to be
– not what others want you to be –
being the real you
will make you truly happy
to be you.
