Is it rainbows and butterflies?

Soft symphony and a hard getaway

the good the bad and the ugly
you completed my existence you vanished all the pain
you held my hand and made me feel love for the first time only by your touch and how you felt
you gave me a dead flower and i said goodbye, because the pain was too much to bear
i came back with open arms you held me tight and said you loved me, my heart was filled with joy and my body kept shaking, but all this time words from your mouth were lies

Built me one of those things you call Masks, or the sun will burn my face
I want it made of steal and gold
and at midnight when my lover brings the moon, my Mask will be thrown under the bushes
I want it soft and smooth, for I would hold it for long
but when the sun is bigger one day, my mask will burn, burn, burn
and ashes will be my mask to hold, but we’ll make a land of moon, oh only a moon
