What was in the time
before memory
of billions of billions
of years ago
time has long since
burned away.
What of time
that shall be
when eternity
has burned the world away.
For we are all
a tiny mote
drifting upon a sea
of dark
from everlasting
to everlasting
and all we have
is the love
of one another
to brave this sea of dark.

Oh, you bring me to life.
For I was once a dead withered thing
Sleeping in the dust.
A pile of withered bones
as the dust blew
across my uncovered
And lifeless grave.
You drew near me
and you knew me not
But you took pity upon my soul.
For I had suffered, as you had suffered
Shed your blood
Upon these dry and dead bones.
And the blood
That ran through your flesh
dropped upon the ground
as though a heavy rain
and soaked into my bones
Upon my body
as it lay.
As flesh grew upon bone
and the breath of life
I felt once again.
And joy filled me
as the love from your body
flowing from your flesh
made me will again
made me to yearn and struggle
for your love that is so dear to me.
In my life I live an immortal life
for an everlasting fire of love for you
burns within my heart
for as long as forever shall be.

Oh, the eyes of the world
Are blind.
Blind to the divinity of love.
Love in all forms
Throughout this wide world
And of the vast loving mind
Throughout the universe.
For the world has a ****** mind
Thinking that love
Is but a base
And lowly thing
For it is so ignorant
That love
Is the very soul
And mind of God.

I am alone
as though I am
but a single star
in an endless black sky
in which nothing else
ever was.
And I wondering
empty endless paths.
And the stars
call out her name
And each one speaks
to me of her.
All the trees in this dark forest
calls to her
and ever calls her name
Her name rises
from the bottom of the sea.
All the world reminds
me of her embrace
And I shall never rest
though lifetimes shall pass

As I ponder
the rhyme of time
of what was before
and before the before
forever backward
through infinitie's door
ever and ever after
will the universe
ever be no more?
Or shall forever live
onward and onward
through infinity's door?
Oh, why do things float
within this sea of nothing
with no beginning and no end?
Oh, but I have found
a solid foundation
in the love of your heart
to be nevermore
