I'm a 16 year old girl still trying to discover who she is. My poetry isn't anything special, but I write poetry because it's an art to me, and it allows me to play with words that can provoke certain feelings or emotions. I hope you enjoy my poems :)
If I told you I loved you, What would you say? That love is not love if it is not returned? That unrequited emotions is the damnation of our existence? Or would you say that love is not love if not with me? That the heavens blessed out hearts to hurt for the passion we share? If I told you I needed you, What would you do? Would you lie with those lips that turned my mind into mine filled with chaos? Would you start your sentence with something petty and sympathetic like "it's not you, it's me"? Or would you stare into my soul with those eyes I fell in love with? Would you lock your lips with mine until our only way of respiration is through our lips? What would you do if I told you... I love you?

What would you do?
Depression: It rips you apart Skin by skin, Bone by bone, Cell by cell. It's the 2AM thoughts that never leave your mind. Mind. Constantly thinking, hesitating, deciding, wondering, Why? Why is my mind a grenade of pain; anytime sadness seeps into my bones an explosion of emptiness evokes me. Alone. I am an enemy of my own being; the creator of my own darkness. Depression: It's a canvas of negative emotions. The smile engraved on your face. The black hole in your chest. The bruises on your knees. The blood on your wrists. The tears in your eyes. The pain

Depression
I see the glint of happiness in your eyes, the hidden truth behind your lies. I smell the enticing fragrance of your perfume, the one she breathes, morning till noon. I hear the promises and secrets you proclaim the way you laugh inside, is this your favourite game? I touch my tingling skin, where you planted a trail of roses my chest, heaving up, down up, down I taste your kiss of death, the very kiss you planted on my lips the very kiss that destroyed me woed me but most importantly killed me.
