It may be sad to think,
That what's above us, may sink.

Take it to the bridge,
That's where it's meant to be,
It's meant to be remembered,
By lowly lock and key.
It's meant to stay forever,
It should never be forgotten,
It was there the entire time,
Yourself, not nearly so often.
It stayed there through the cold,
It stayed there through the rain,
It meant to stay with you,
Yet you never walked that bridge again.

I made it from the beginning,
I made it from spare parts,
I made it so I could finish,
To then rebuild it from the start.
I made it through the years,
I made it to this minute,
I made it to this world,
To be the only left in it.
I made it through adversity,
I made it through the pain,
Hey. I made it Mr.
I made it here again.

Those hands they'd be like snow, for ice could glow in your eyes.
Don't compromise this moment we have, adjust the volume to max
We're the only ones here in this terrace flat, come round and we can chat for ages, take it smoothly, in stages; turn me up, feel through my pages, purrrrrrr

The steel has been stained but it wasn't meant to be -
Caught up in the blizzard! now all you have is the scissors!
On the inside your broken and now your losing (your mind)
but they're so blind that they only see the bruising.

Maybe It's Too Late, chains loosen and your grip tightens, the children are frightened, meshed brains and broken hearts stand on broken floorboards tangled in wires; which operate their lives as they're spared from the damage inside their brains, nostalgia sprains the future findings of blood stains on carpets that are hidden deep like veins.

There's a person there, if you want to greet it.
It's only deep when you want to feel it.
There is an answer,
There is an alternative;
There is someone there
If you wish to believe it,
There is an alternative.

Think what it must be like to be them.
This isn't about you, making comparisons.
This begins with understanding them and their problem .
If they aren't willing to tell you their problem,
That means that they have already established
That you have a lack of understanding about their problem.
Mental health is what I'm talking about,
Mental health needs to be acknowledged in advance,
So that they feel like they can open up to you.
Without encountering childish remarks behind their backs,
"Mentally disabled" is the wrong terminology for mental health.
This odd person has quite clearly been through a lot.
Whether it's dealing with people judging them,
Struggling to socialize, feeling isolated...
Laughing at them is not positive, in fact,
It's the most negative reaction. No love there.
But what do you love? cars, phones, latest clothes etc...
Their problems are very different to your own.
You need to look up common conditions such as Autism,
To be a better person to those around you,
Because if you don't understand, who else will?

I found a thrush,
To be but a rush,
With no movement.
It's feathers soft,
Saying a prayer,
From little of air.
He lay there,
In it's own sick -
Mind elsewhere.
Simply,
Blown away.

The wings that were never flown,
Were flightless and on their own.
As intertwining winds cast many sins,
You followed those skies alone.
A dove that magpies borrowed,
Carved white in nests of sorrow,
To possess such gold,
The dove lay cold,
Now it's known,
There will be,
No tomorrow.
