I like a crisp apple
I like the way the sunlight hits my bedsheet in the morning
in a perfect square
I like the movement of wind in leaves
And the way circumference of a circle is always pi times the diameter
no matter what numbers you put in
I like the happiness in small things

Achy leaky Heart
Achy leaky Heart
What can I do
if she's torn you apart?
What can I do
if it's not you
she chose to be a part?
O' won't you tell me
My
Achy leaky Heart
Achy leaky Heart.

For the last time and forever
They pulled away from each other.
Their intertwined fingers unravelling
Like threads coming apart.

You had me at hello
Before I knew it, I could no longer say no.
Days became weeks, weeks became months.
You took my heart, not in pieces but in chunks.
Running my fingers through your long black hair
Puts me at ease and removes all my despair.
Looking at you,
Your face
Your eyes
Your lips
Puts my entire world to a standstill.
Something only you can do, against my will.
I'm scared.
And I try to act like I don't care.
But every time I try to walk away from it all,
I find myself looking back for you.
With my back against the wall.
What do I do with this feeling inside me?
I wrapped it up and gave you my heart as plain as it can be.
But even then, it wasn't meant to be.
What do I do now, how can I be free?
If I bury my feelings will I be free?
Or will it just put me in a prison, my heart cold and empty.
If I give you my heart, my everything, will I then be free?
Or will it just leave me stranded, out in the stormy seas?
Free to love, or free of love.
What I do, how do I be free?

Please don't get tired of me.
Because as I look into your light brown eyes,
I gasp for air as I drown in their warmth.
Because as I stare at the way your lips curve when you grin,
I feel an explosion in my chest.
Because as you scrunch up your face and roll your eyes,
I laugh and look up to you like you're my night sky.
Because as I feel the pressure of your body against mine,
I hold onto you tighter as a tsunami of adrenaline washes through me.
Because as I feel the softness of your lips on mine,
I kiss you like you're my miracle.
So please don't get tired of me,
Because you're my miracle.

I search through the vast ocean of bodies, scanning through unfamiliar faces until finally I find the one I'm looking for. As our eyes lock, the world around me fades into nothing. Every colour bleeds away and all that's left, right in front of me, is her.
And the colours exist only for her.
One step, two steps. Closer and closer. My heart starts beating, pumping, pounding at the sight of her. Without a single motion, she paints a smile on my face, and she herself laughs.
The sound of her laughter purges the air of pestilence. It reverebates throughout my body, injecting so much colour into my blood stream that I experience a series of happiness, ecstscy and joy all at the same time.
Finally, she's in my arms.
The instant that she is, the world of grey collapsed onto itself, quickly followed by a stream of infinite colours emanating from our intertwined bodies, violently painting colours into everything around us.
Suddenly, silence.
Just the familiar scent of hers.
Just the familiar curve on her waist.
Just the familiar small of her back.
Just the familiar feel of her hands in mine.
Just the familiar pair of eyes looking back at me.
Everything, is complete.

I feel you in the warmth of the sun.
I receive your kiss in the gentle caress of the wind.
I hear your loving whispers in songs of the bird
I see you in everything pure and beautiful.
You are my everything.

Pure, kind and beautiful was her heart,
Lock and key it had to be, so she wouldn’t fall apart.
But something so divine
Should never be hidden so far down a mine.
Then came a boy, but not simple was he.
He was a thief, a robber. She knew not, how could she?
He came, he saw and she let down her walls.
He took her time, her words and danced through her halls.
One day, he stole the key to her heart,
Tore down her walls, and broke her apart.
He left her with a bitter taste
And she wondered, was it all a waste?
Wounded and hurt, she built back her walls
Stronger and taller they stand, never again to fall.
Bruised and beaten
She now keeps her heart forever hidden.
~~~
Alone, but contented was I in life
Then she happened and I was in a strife.
She was a thief, a robber.
She took my heart and dismembered it - a ******
But like a shooting star across the night
She came into my life in a brilliant streak of light
Entranced, enthralled and enchanted
She was the one I never intended.
The walls towered above me as I looked to her
Scale it I must, in order to understand her.
It may take me a while as I climb
But all I have, is time.
Slowly but surely, she started making sense to me
She's the one I want, to be a part of me.
She thinks she's an unwanted colour that no one wants to capture
But she is the colour that completes my picture.
I see her heart, tattered and torn
It breaks my heart, to see her so forlorn.
Happiness, smiles and laughter I hope to provide
She needs to know, there's nothing to hide.
Piece by piece I will mend her broken heart
Never will I, let her fall apart.
The only walls that will be erected
Are the ones to keep her safe and protected.
I will keep her safe and sound
No harm will come to her while I'm around.
How much she means to me, she has no clue
But I love her, I love her I do.
Every day for an eternity, the Moon misses the Sun
He never sees her, forever on the run.
At the break of dawn, he tries to catch her
Horizon yonder, he just misses her.
In his dreams,
He gazes at her, crowned in golden rays.
He holds her, so warm in his embrace.
He listens to her, the melody of nature.
He kisses her, the sweet taste of nectar.
He wakes up to her halcyon wisps of light,
And loses sight of her to the darkness of the night.
But in their loneliness and solitude
There is one thing that will bring them fortitude.
Patience and love will bring them together
Even the Sun and Moon will meet each other.
No matter how long it may be
An eclipse will happen, eventually.
The day that I see you again
Will be our eclipse.
Together we will remain,
A promise we seal with our lips.
Every day for an eternity,
I will think of you
I will care for you
I will be by your side
I will protect you
Every day for an eternity.
Every day, for an eternity.
Blinded by emeralds so bright
It showed me a monster, my green eyed blight.
Try as I might, to remove this affliction
It still gets me sometimes, this abomination
