Her hair feathered, eyes blue doves nestled in the hollows of her cheekbones. Lips swollen from kissing ****** men. An object, love making of the disreputable kind; of lust, grime and creaking springs. Comfort for one sleepless night. Mouth red not from wine, but blood. She tilts her chin up to the sky and marvels at how small she is, insignificant. And the clouds envelope her body in an embrace so tender; Steadfast, the only lover that comes without a price.

Flame
Lately I haven’t been sleeping so well. My bones waxing and Waning. My head full of foreign voices, And eye sockets stinging with The metallic tang of Exhaustion. Hands claw wildly at thin air, Fingertips searching for Ghostly beings. Limbs turn to jellyfish and Float languidly down the Riverbed Of tomorrow.

The universe formed a halo around her head. Every cell refined, exquisite from gossamer golden strands of hair, to the tips of her saintly toes. Men took their hats off, bowed- ladies did wait. And along with the royalties, she now led; The earth, sun, moon- in a meticulous harmony.

A Celestial Being
Wisdom teeth, Pulled out this week. Tongue in cheek, You carve her name Through Your skin as you sleep. I could write an essay On the way you hold your body Near; A novel on your hopes and Fears. I do not know her, But she has left me Clenching At my flesh. Nails red as wine. She has left my heart in Ribbons At your feet. Your face mapped out in Scratches On a stranger’s thighs, And I’ll go home to my own Tonight.
