She starts to speak, he listens close. Her eyes welled up, as his mind froze. He inches near, she falls right in. He holds her tight, the know within, they're the ones who could have been. She pulls his hand right off her head for fear that she would utter things she shouldn't say. So he offers words he wished he didn't mean. Her happiness is all that matters to him. So it goes. They'll never know what life might have been if someone had caved in when they once had no one to hold. If they only had seen and knew what could have been. She says goodbye, he bids farewell. Their hearts still lie to whom they love.

why did you appear in my life, and made me care for you like a bird with broken wings, nestled in my hands, n my arms. why did you care the way you did? to stir the stillness in my heart. your company like the warmth that i've lost. your concern mending all that was broken why did we get so close? that we saw each other every other day, our messages teasing and joking, many memories in many places that we chose to make. why did we tug the strings of our heart? till our breaths matched in the still of the night. our hands intertwined and tangled unlocking as they brush through our hair. why did we go that much further? that we spoke words so tender and beautiful, our lips caressed in sin, my hands slipping down your dress. why did you choose to change? for fear of where this may lead, you faded away from us, failing to speak but rather to hide deeper in the unknown. why did you break me apart? a lover to a friend and now an acquaintance, scowling at every step I took. while I looked up at the pedestal you stand. why am I the lovestruck fool? trying to salvage things from this wreck, my concern not worthy of your time, yet you're taking all that you can. why? ame. why?

why?
Cover me now, with the shadow of your hand. Leave me blind, for i’m the puppet in your plans. Tear me up, till every bone crumbles inside. Leave me shackled, fallen on your breast. This pool of blood is yet to be, I clutched the trigger you placed on my head You’re my ticking time bomb. I’m the ********* to my own fate. I know you’re the toxic that exists I know you’re the pain I could peel. I know you’re the venom inside of me I know you’re the worm in my veins I seek to feel. Spit on me, there is no shame in emptiness. Lie from me, your words tear holes in my flesh. Take my soul and put it to the test. Tease me hard, as I fall to temptation and sin. I’ve inscribed your name on my walls in red, with the agony you seeded oh so oft’ You’re my ticking time bomb. and i’m about to set it off. **** me, I know it is coming to an end. and leave with the promise that was never meant. Feel me, just before I make the leap. I still feel warm from your last caress

worm.
every morning I wake up, with an aching in my heart. the bed staling with each passing day, each day tougher to start. the silent dawn then comes alive as I recall words and laughter that rings so true, as I hug this pillow tighter wishing it was you. I close my eyes as I rest my head, yet all I see is you. These lips recall fervent memories of times that passed too soon. and as I rise with the first gleam of light and place my feet upon the floor, I try to walk away from your departure, as I pace to wards the door. the day soon ends, and as I lay again in this bed, I know i'll wake up the next morning, I know it'll be the same ache.

tomorrow.
This is story that I left to fate with words I didn't know. Just as you left me speechless with your grace, and left me longing for your place. This is the story that I left to fate. One which you can partake. If you'll hold my hand through the currents to be, this is our story to make
