i was foolish to believe you
you kissed me and hugged me
i loved you and needed you
you said you'd hold me for as long as i wanted so i looked up and asked "Forever"?
the texts i woke up to if you weren't there with one simple word
Forever
even when we fought you would always come back
we thought our love was forever but i guess forever isn't really that long

i wish i could say i was fine
i wish i didn't push people away
i was i cared a little less
but the truth is i care so much
more than anyone would ever guess
i push people away to try and spare my self but it never works
that's why i'm not fine and i may never be fine again
