Alluring maiden Skirts of green foam flash and twirl Her song draws me in Arms of sweet salt embrace me Silken promises whispered

What Dreams May Come (Poem 10)
I stare at you Through a small tear between dreams and reality. So this is where you were hiding all this time. Immortal, after all.

What Dreams May Come (Poem 9)
I step in the shower, You follow me in. Clear water Ivory skin Blue tiles Ebony sin Hmm, no one is watching, Let's do it again....

What Dreams May Come (Poem 8)
I walked past the shop and felt eyes watching me. I stopped in my tracks and thought, “Can it be?” From the wall hung a tiny man made of straw With black beads for eyes and a gaping maw. He looked at me, and I looked at him, And without even meaning to, I stepped on in. The shop owner saw me.  “You like him, eh?” My head moved up and down, but my brain screamed, “No way!” The straw man was packaged in a brown, paper bag. I pulled out my wallet and then I paid. I was handed my purchase and was told, “Good day.” And I swear my bag chuckled as I walked away.

What Dreams May Come (Poem 7)
She was named after the sea And her eyes were the color of waves crashing on a stormy day. And yet, There she was... Landlocked.

What Dreams May Come (Poem 6)
Black convertible Top down Starry sky above. Where am I going? Where have I been? The answer is one and the same: My love.

What Dreams May Come (Poem 5)
Whispered voices fill the halls Ghostly hands reach from the walls And yet my heart, it feels no fear As I seek out the voice I hold so dear Icy fingers grasp my arms Gasping voices promise harms I fight against them with each step You can’t have me, not quite yet But then I see your shadowed face Veiled in a web of spider lace So then, my dear, I’m much too late And with a final kiss, you seal my fate….

What Dreams May Come (Poem 4)
It's one a.m. with yellow skies. I peer above with fearful eyes. What is this mess? The end of the world? An alien invasion? A nuke unfurled? Half the world runs helter skelter, While the other half parties. "Screw taking shelter!" And you, my love, Are in group number two. And in this moment I wish I was too. But you see the fear, alive in my eyes, As they search and search these doomsday skies. You draw me close, So warm and alive, And together, I think, We might just survive.

What Dreams May Come (Poem 3)
I rest my head between bed and sky As countless worlds tip-toe on by And I try Oh, I try As I open my eyes To keep your hand in mine.
