IN A WORLD CROWDED AND LOST I RECOGNIZE YOU AND KNOW YOUR WAYS A GREAT BLESSING HAS US HERE TODAY SECRETS REVEALED WITH TRUST AND EASE A SHELTER IN THE WORST STORM AND THE LIGHT BREEZE IT FEELS WARM HERE, I KNOW YOU FEEL IT TOO IT'S A SMALL PLACE, WHERE TEARS AND LAUGHTER FOLLOW THROUGH I WONDER WHAT WILL CHANGE THIS WHAT DISAGREEMENT WILL SHACKLE THIS SAFE SPACE WORDS WHICH OFFEND, OR BETRAYAL WHEN THE DARKNESS STAYS OR WOULD WE CHANGE DIRECTION TRYING TO SHELTER SOME OTHER PLACE AND ALL PROMISES ETCHED ON THOSE WALLS WILL GROW OUT WITH MOSS I WONDER WHERE LIFE'S PATH WILL LEAD US AND THOUGH I PONDER SHIFTING SANDS OF FATE, I HOLD THIS MOMENT, PRECIOUS, IN MY STATE. FOR EVEN IF THE WINDS DO BLOW US FAR, THIS QUIET WARMTH, A CONSTANT, GUIDING STAR. AND SHOULD THE PATHS DIVIDE, AND MOSS TAKE HOLD, THE ECHO OF THIS SHELTER WILL BE TOLD. WITHIN MY HEART, A GENTLE, LINGERING GRACE, A MEMORY ETCHED, OF THIS BELOVED PLACE

My dearest Friend
To Whom It May Concern, The human tide, a restless sea, May tug and pull, distract and tease. Let not its waves your spirit sway, But find your peace in calmest bay. Forgive the slights, the words unkind, Release the past, leave anger behind. For in forgiveness, freedom lies, And energy for soaring skies. Expect not change in others' ways, But cultivate your inner grace. Lead by example, kind and true, Let gentle influence softly woo. A humble heart, a spirit free, Can mend the rift, sincerely Control the self, not others' will, And find in peace your purpose still. - Miss Millers

Distractors - how to Deal with them
The Beauty and the Monster Mercy, mercy, mercy on me!   Let me die or let me be.   The beauty of the tower cried aloud,   But the monster said, "Make no sound."   He chained her to the palace walls   And told her she could never call. "But you promised me," she said,   "You were not a monster!" her eyes deep red.   "Oh, you fool, that was not meant,   It's more like a trap, not a mere lament.   Your fate was sealed the day you were sent.   No prince, no knight, no savior will come,   For the beast in the tower can never be undone." The beauty wept, her hope worn thin,   But still her spirit fought within.   "For I may be bound by your cruel desire,   Yet even a monster can't take out my fire."   The beauty convinced the beast as days flew by   That the palace walls were home and where she would die.   She stopped weeping and smiled with ease,   She was waiting deep inside for her release.   And soon the day came when the beast gave in,   Told her, her freedom was in the walls within. For days she kept her guard up,   Waiting patiently for the time,   The pills mixed graciously in his beloved cup,   Hidden well in the deep red wine. The beast boasted of her compliance,   How she lost her spirit and might,   How a proper treatment could silence,   And drive out all the light. After the hearty meal and the wine,   His eyes were blurred with sleep,   And off he retired to his bed,   Her heart jumped with a joyful leap. Quiet as a whisper, she took her chance,   Moving swiftly, a determined dance.   Into the night, she found her way,   Embracing the dawn of a new day. The beast woke up with chains in his hand,   No beauty ever again will visit his land.   For love and respect he had none,   The tales of not a beast but a monster he had  won. -  Miss Millers
