Until I retired I didn't notice the colours of the dew on the grass and the shape of the water droplets the scent of the flowers after the rain the greenness of the fields Having more time to spare I have noticed changes everywhere

Retirement
I don't understand computers technology, mobile phones- things that are not tangible but I do understand nature's cycle like the journey leaves undergo from falling off in the autumn and reappearing in the springtime as buds and blossoms, migrations and hibernations of birds and animals, all interdependent on each other and their environment

HAIKU (From Where I Have Been)
I opened my eyes to my surprise I saw fluffy white clouds in the sky that we had not seen for a few weeks A little rain would do the parched earth good letting the flowers and trees continue to grow natures way of giving us what we need and for which I am thankful
