English I live in West Sussex with my partner and have five gorgeous grandchildren. update! now seven grand children!
Memories of people and places Of times past, loss and pain People and times remembered That can never be again Like clouds rolling over the hills Rushing ,picking up pace Like lashing rain and thunder claps My thoughts and memories race Inside I cry, why? why? While on my face a smile Then your memory comes to comfort me And sit with me a while Memories can comfort And soothe away the pain Memories of you To make me smile again

Memories
You were always there For all of my life You should be here now But God had other ideas So you went with Him And you left us behind I hope you are at peace And happy And free from pain and fear Can you see us From where you are Among the stars? I miss you my lovely Mum Now as much as then I'll see you in my dreams

Hold On
Your love is unconditional You love me just because There is no price to pay Your love is unconditional As you cuddle up to me Because you want to Your love is  unconditional As you wrap your arms around me And hug me tight    Our love is unconditional For one another Only love and joy

The love of a child
Slowly , slowly the sun awakens Lighting the soft, dark ,velvet night Blowing out the stars like candles Dimming the light of the silver moon Gently waking the birds from their slumber To sing their joyful morning song Shedding its light high over the treetops Beckoning to the flowers below Shining on the dew laden grass Glistening like a carpet of diamonds Like millions of prisms catching a rainbow Such beauty to behold Spreading its light , spreading its warmth Turning the sky to azure blue Casting its rays to light the day It's morning's work is done Slowly , slowly the sun dips down Heralding  the end of another day Gently stroking all life to sleep Beckoning the soft, dark, velvet night
