When words turn to memories
And laughter's just an empty echo
When the sunrise loses its glory
And the winds whisper truths to you
When everything you've dreamed for is drifting
And pain is around the corner waiting
When the image in the mirror is now a stranger
Caged in happy thoughts and what-ifs screaming...
Happiness is just my goal in living!

Minsa'y gumawa ng himig ang langit,
Mga notang hinabi ng pulang sinulid,
Sa kumpas ng hangin at sayaw ng tubig,
Lumipad, lumaya ang awit ng pag-ibig.
Ngunit may sariling ritmo ang tadhana,
Banayad na himig sandaling nag-iba,
Umakyat, bumaba, bumilis at humina,
Makulay, mabigat ang awit ay kumawala
At unti-unting narinig mga lirikong nakatakda.

While Mother Earth was healing
People were wailing
As if their kingdom was taken.
The wildlife started to laugh
As they watched humans caged
In their invented habitats.
Humans aside, the sky looked bluer
The sea clearer and the breeze fresher
What a paradox of life
The keeper was kept
And everything seemed to be in place.
