Hello, I'm trying to write a poetic composition about my/an elbow, can someone please contribute or suggest something to this I need help, I know that it still sound half-assed and this poem badly needs surgery.
Your elbow is a canvas of a Van Gogh painting
Ocean currents, circling and weaving
stretching out as far as your arm would permit
you to hold such unrecognized beauty
Your elbow is a sheet of brilliant bronze laced
in layers of velveteen gold
stitched to shame the easy maze of your fingerprints

inching pace
battered salmon temples
wrinkled
in slight touch
your white wet noise plagues the
hollow
domes of my
entrance to judgement and
gossip
to forget
and knowing and promise --
music,
it is not,
invented subtle expression
meant
not for black
flying creatures that ****
life
out of the
sound of quiet

Thee shall bleed
and seep through
the endless pitch black blanket
that will tuck in
the human race
in their beds tonight

A flux of whiteness
A skin forms on the surface
I drink my warm milk

Here is a memory from 14 years ago
I was sheltering meself from
Mommy's 3 o'clock shadow
Peeping through her long floral skirt
It smelled of flowers too
I pursed my lips and gave her a pout
"Hush now, little girl...everything's okay"
I doubt
as her 3 o'clock shadow
continues to tick-tock
4 then 5
tick-tock
then it striked 6
I followed her shoes
as it steps on crunching
autumn leaves
I am no longer shaded
by her long silhouette

O, Death, Keeper of Souls
The Eternal Watcher, ye take and give
Thou giveth life, thou taketh away
Grant, that in taking this life, I may
As thou willeth, live again,
Prosperteth, by chance, or choice,
Under thy mercy, that ye taketh not
My life, for one more day
Let this be my only plea, my sole prayer
“One more day.”

As I lose my soul in a song, yet again
In the lyrical verses of Death, I start my bargain
Death, The Eternal Watcher, ***** in my being
Through the endless pitch black night, that voided me, from seeing
The light that all my prayers I offered went straight to
My soul now drenched in the moist from the grisly beats and tempos
From the void, I stride, I yield, I unsheathed
The power of my Deed-Blade, to prove I was worthy
To face off with the Devil, who yielded no mercy
As the Devil threw his summons of sulphurous fire
A baneful blow to his head, knocked him out in his lair of mire
O, Death, as I stand before the Devil’s cadaver
Sing to me the verses of Eternity’s Master
May He bless my soul that lived for a transient time
May it find the path of virtue as it fought out of intrepidness, not of bravado
May my soul finally see the light
The light of God that would bring me in spiritual ecstasy, with this, I have truly won the fight

A thousand miles it came
From an endless plain blue desert
Creatures down below
Undiscovered, feared, unknown
A thousand miles it came
From a journey nearing defeat
Creatures down below
Break into foamy, fragile things
A thousand miles it came
As they wander forth to shore
Creatures down below
Follow, by throbbing, violent waves
A thousand miles it came
As they die a briny death
Creatures down below
Once again, glisten into majestic, untouched wights

Facts and opinions
I both loathe and love
Science and fiction
I both desire and lust
Mortality and immortality
I both fear and crave
Letting go and moving on
I both do and cannot do
