The Only Thing

The only thing I really need in life, is you.

All I hear anymore is: I can't wait to get through this year. I can't wait for the school trip in May. I can't wait to start high school. I can't wait to start driving. I can't wait to go to college. I can't wait for this. I can't wait for that. Instead of wishing your life would co faster, slow down. Just live. Just breath. It can wait.

I Can't Wait

In times of grief you learn some things. Here are the things I have learned: 1) your life is not over because you have a bad day. And a bad day doesn't mean a bad life. 2) family may be all you have, but do not take them for granted because one day you'll wake up and they'll just be gone. 3) God has a plan. He has everything set out for you and even though you can't see it in this moment, everything is going to be okay. #3 is by far my favorite.

Things

In times of grief you learn some things. Here are the things I have learned: 1) your life is not over because you have a bad day. I cannot explain the way my mind goes crazy around you. I cannot explain the way my heart races around you. All I know is since the day I met you my world has been upside down. But I guess I wouldn't want it any other way.

When will it end? Nonstop crying The feeling of pain and dying When will it end? Kids being abused God, they're so confused When will it end? All the self harm The blood on their arms When will it end? The sleepless nights The parental rights When will it end? "I wanna go home!" "I can't do this alone!" When will it end? Society telling you who to be When all you need to be is free When will it end? She's gone now, home, safe Done feeling the feeling of grief Well that's your answer It ends when someone's pushed to far
