There were days we woke singing the same song. / / I took it to mean our souls danced together at night. / / Our beds were canvas and we were art. / / Until one day, I woke in the ruins alone.
Do you hate the face you see? Or think back over the times, You saw a different face, When these eyes held terrible lies, Do you resent the times you said, The things that slipped from your tongue? Or do you think of those words with intrigue, And wonder if you had always known but refused to believe? Do you think back to the times in your head? The times you wished you could unravel, Spill your desires upon the sheets As your mind climbed into 'my' bed, Do you see my face with anger? Or with pity? Or disgust? Do you see my face at all? Or is it buried deep 'neath the past?

Untitled
In silence I wait for what is real, Watching the wandering souls, Their home on the streets, Urgency speaks nothing but lies, How quickly I forget, All that is meaningless, Failing to grasp what slips through my fingers, Content to live with unrest, Restless for what is next. ~LC~

The Truth of Perception
There beneath the blood stained clouds, Red eyes are fast burnt out, Searching somewhere below the ashes, For the life that was longed to live, Every day He wakes, Staring at the back of Her face, Every day He wishes, There was nothing in the way, Somewhere beneath the first layer, Close to the weight He bares, Is home to a love once owned, Still showing signs of life, Every day He wakes, Filled with the empty pain, Every day He hides it, Knowing no other way, Until the day he He lies and rests, Here in The Bone Yard's hold, Beneath the ashes of my love, He will learn the other way. ~LC~

The Bone Yard
Damp Lungs, Empty Hearts, On the Darkest Nights, Breathe and Beat as One, Because it was on that day, It was in that moment, And your eyes still hold the memory, Of when I gave my love away, Now morning waits, And as the stars fall away, The Sun shall rise again, My empty heart will still beat, As long as you live. ~LC~

Love Undying
Is it the artist or the art, That defines the contents of the heart? ~LC~

Haters
*I spent a lifetime, Sorting through this tangled mind, Taking out all the memories, Trapped inside.* ~LC~

Tangled Mind
Wandering the roads, The crunch of Autumn beneath my toes, I wonder how close we came, To me lying dead, With my heart in your hands, I picture the scene, In a city far away, Slumped on the floor, The horizon in my eyes, Filling the space you left behind, A key fits the lock, The door creaks as it opens, I wonder who's eyes, Are subject to seeing, Such a beautiful find. ~LC~

A Beautiful Find
This careless soul, These desperate hands, Seek the dreams, Of our mortal love. ~LC~

Mortal Dreams
A Triangle Is the place Where two lines meet, Dreaming more than I sleep, The death of love is a beautiful thing, Hiding mistakes I will never make again, We are just old lovers living new days now, I don't know much but I know two things My passion may be impure, But my love is clean. ~LC~

Triangles
Your beauty punctured my soul while I slept, I woke to realise, The music had stopped playing, You were pumping through my blood, And now through the holes, A thousand poems spill out. ~LC~
