Wore my heart on my sleeve now I'm wishing I could wish back the days The memories stuck they won't fade away Forget them all the same, got no one else to blame In love I'll never claim, I'll never change

My own best friend From the womb 'til the end I'll remain my own best friend I loved myself first. I loved 'til I burst. Learned that love was a curse. So I'll remain my own best friend The most loyal The most independent The one you'll never forget The one that got away The one you wish had stayed The one who's got you hella bent Now you're wishing you would have confessed it Shuffling through "what if's" But this Queen is a gift you never opened The player never wins Ima be my own best friend From my beginning to my end

He is nothing but a flash of deja vu! Nothing! NOTHING Nothing more, nothing less. I knew better I always do. But something about you, dangerous but beautiful you What if you & I weren't the same? What if you stopped playing games? What if I could open my mouth & let my mind sing out? What if I wasn't afraid of vulnerability? What if you loosened your grip on me? Different man, same shame The common denominator in this equation. He thinks this ***** a game Like tampering with the most vital ***** to my survival isn't going to **** me! He wants me dead. A game of tug-o-war and I'm losing but what for?????? He's a coward just like me Little does he know I'm so into my mind I've already searched his The Arms Length Inn 1111 **** YOU LANE Los Angeles, CA, 90028

"Welcome to the Arms Length Inn! It is so nice to have you!!!"       --     Four walls. Two doors. One entrance, same exit. You had one shot, a pound of rock, and a couple of skeletons in your suitcase. So afraid of falling the devil saw his opening. You followed him, let him lead. I heard the enemy giggle as my beloved grinded his teeth. He just wanted to fly! Stuck on this medicine that makes him feel like himself again. He's healed! He's cured! But he's still unsure. He watches me through tired eyes Eyes that watch the sun set, then the sun rise The man with a million moves The man with a lot to prove The man who longs for a good woman but doesn't know what to do with one! The man who wastes no time except for yours,       except for mine The man who believes his own lies when he types, "...the bring home to mom type..."      ya ******* right,       ya ******* right, **blah blah blah talk that **** but you **** right "Welcome to the Arms Length Inn. It is so nice to have you."

The Arms Length Inn
They shined so bright. Brighter than a diamond, brighter than the sun. I saw so much light in the two almonds I stared into. The perfect shade of brown, to match the melanin protecting him. Perfect together, the pair. They fluttered so fast like they didn’t want to miss a thing, like they wanted to fly away. Couldn’t get them to hold your affections forever, they quickly broke my gaze. I think it made them nervous to look at me so honestly. I could smell the herb, skunky like OG. I could see the cares lift away with a puff, puff, and a pass. The familiarity was instant. Looking as smooth as your words I got lost in them. Tripped and stumbled down to familiarity again. Lana in Lannyland falling for that gaze like a sin.
