One life and beating heart.
sun on my scalp
concrete beneath my feet
the faint scent of diesel smoke
clings to my shirt
my shirt clings to me in the scorching heat
Fresh off a southbound train i walk towards the sounds
of a nearby town
i near a road with traffic zipping by
and step over the guardrail.
i let out a relieving sigh
its so good to see cars and other people
when a few hours prior i called a boxcar,home
23 hrs crawling thru the desert heat
i now unloaded my pack
knelt down
and kissed the street

I love New York streets
The sound of speakers pumping beats
Is oh so sweet
Skyscrapers reach for the clouds
and then the stars at night
A canvas speckled
with neon lights
Sirens blare from far away
And traffic never slows
Cars fill the streets
No matter where you go
So many cultures in one place
But still people only care
About race
Cats howl and hiss
In an alley stinking
Of human ****
Thousands of empty apartments
Laying in wait
But the homeless stay homeless
And they call it fate
High fashion
Low self worth
Taxis, bodegas, newsstands, and fruit stands galore
We are 8 million strong and still
Growing more
Hustlers hustle any hours
Crackheads fiend in the streets
for months without a shower
Nodding out junkies sway
Almost falling down
All beautiful, ***** loud and bright
Things make up my town
So chaotic
But all seems to work
This is what it's like
It's why
I love New York

He sits on a stool in the far corner of the bar
stirring his whiskey sour.
Finally he feels the warm buzz he's been
chasing for hours.
"She's probably with him right now",he mumbles
to himself.
His eyes fix on an aged bottle of scotch up
on the top shelf.
The drink won't rinse away the dirt going
on in his life
Nor rekindle the undying love he once felt
from his wife.
Twenty two years, three kids, and one dog
He hangs his head over the glass and
wonders what went wrong.
Closing time was creeping up slow
He orders one more shot before
its time to go.
The jukebox plays a soft country song
He downs the last drops, grabs his coat
and he's gone.
Where's he gonna go though?
He can't go home
He knows he'd **** them both
if he caught them alone.
The buzz is too strong for him to drive
but still he starts his car.
He thinks He'll be alright, a friend doesn't
live too far.
Rain pours down out of nowhere,he squints
and struggles to see.
It stops as quickly as it started and its as
clear as can be.
But It's too late .He puts his hands
over his eyes
His car crashes head on with another
and smoke fills the skies
She let's her "secret" lover out the back door and waits for her husband to come home
But little does she know she'll be spending
the night and maybe the rest of her life ...
Alone

Twenty billion stars and not one shines
brighter than your eyes
We are so high on these smoke clouds
that no one could pull us from these skies
We slow dance past the sun
till we are soaked in sweat
Ascend towards the heavens from a life
with no regrets
Your fingers tangle in my hair
that flows like liquid onyx
Your lips hug my mouth
when you lay a kiss upon it
Our love is the envy of many
alone on this day
We cherish our bonded hearts
that shall never stray

Full of **** to the brim
Understand how I feel within
Can't you see I've had enough
**** the attitude you aim at me
Each time you insult it hurts deeply
Don't tell me you love me so much,
cuz the way you treat me is

It was all a scam!
Avonte knew that man!
Autistic children don't trust strangers
or run into their hands
This was an innocent child sacrificed
to put a multi million dollar program in place
They knew what they were doing
as they wallpapered the city with his face
A boys life was lost
He never had clue what he did wrong
Now the evil ones are lining their pockets
And Avonte's dead and gone!

Do you ever wonder if there's love out there
Will someone give their heart to share
You ask yourself,"Am I pretty enough?"
Or,"Am I too fat?"
True love doesn't care about that
It loves you just the way you are
No matter what the baggage
No matter how many scars
True love thinks your beautiful not for your size
Because they see the AMAZING person you are inside
Even if you never find true love after searching
for so long
Realize it's you that loved you all along

Your hot,wet lips on mine
make me melt
I slide down my *******
As you undo your belt
My arms wrap around your strong **** neck
then go lower till they reach your back
We join together
and our love is divine
Your body moves in rhythm
with mine
My breathing shallows and my heart pounds
The room is filled with the scent of ***
and moaning sounds
We ravage eachother till we are collapsed
in the end
We share a kiss goodnight
And pass out on the bed

Fire burns in my eyes
so much rage I can't subside
I hold myself while I cry
to keep from wanting you to die
I'd **** you!
I'd **** you dead!
If I only had a 45 to press against your head
I'd make you feel my pain
and you'd beg me to stop
You'd hear the clicks as I cocked it
And then.....
POP!!!
