Why do we never speak a single word
about what we feel?
Eye contact lingers too long,
and neither of us looks away.
Barely any touch ~
yet we are both starving for it.
We stand so close,
I can almost feel our hearts beating in the same rhythm.
I hear you calling for me
in the quiet of the night,
But fear keeps your hands still.
So I stay.. here,
waiting for the words
we never speak..

I look out through the window as the city light dim,
Where everyone is sleeping,
And it’s only me who stays awake in the witching hour.
Do you ever understand why I had to leave you?
Or are you stuck in a loop,
Wondering if you said something right or wrong?
You probably hate me to the bone right now
Cursing me, blaming me for not staying your side.
Our dreams together were destroyed .
You go through your phone and delete every single photo we had together.
Our souvenirs from recent trips are burned to the ground.
No more tears are left to fall from your eyes.
Now you’ve started looking for a rebound,
Searching for some poor girl unlucky enough to fall into your lap.
Oh you poor Gemini soul.
Thinking another girl can replace me so easily.
But you don’t have the courage to look her in the eyes,
Because you fear seeing me right there, staring back at you.
You pull her close,
Trying to feel the warmth from her petite body,
But all you feel is cold,
barely alive and soulless.
Feel the pain, darling
Run away like you always do.
Feel the pain, pretty boy
Because I know this is the most expensive lesson
I could ever teach you before we fully part ways,
You poor soul.

I lie alone in my bed,
staring at the ceiling.
My mind wanders,
trapped in an endless loop.
My heart—
hurting.
Tears have dried up,
leaving only the burn behind.
My chest feels heavy,
as if a thousand knives
are buried deep within it.
My hands grip tightly,
a silent tug-of-war
where no one wins.
My eyes are full of sorrow and pain.
They are no longer bright,
no longer beautiful,
But still here …

Blue eyes like moonlight,
Shining like stars.
Soft striped whiskers,
An apple-shaped face.
Warm smoky fur,
Like glowing charcoal.
Little paws like booties,
A strong, beautiful voice.
What is this lovely creature?
A small mystery
so bright.
It is a Siamese cat,
The moon’s diamond of the kingdom
