American Just wandering and wondering ~ / through the Dreams of The Creator's Mind.
The many paths of Life offer Each of us a different tour On journeys, at the same times Each living our walk through our own minds As I sit worried that my boys Will have to soon play with war's toys Others I see live in love's grasp Stepping into wedded bliss at last People becoming moms and dads Others crying they've lost all they had Children in slums dancing to Their little drums made of buckets, who Don't know where their next meal's from Still others live high lives upon Their own mountains in castles The rest of us only dream of A father buries his child today A daughter sends her mother away To be tended to by others A teen stops a bully from another Attack on an unsuspecting foe The teacher wrings her hands and shows Emotion she'll be criticized for As she receives a pink slip out the door Caring for the children of Moms and dads who work, not love Mom and dad scream their frustrations At each other over admonitions From their broken children who Will probably end up like them, too As the circle of life goes We are born into the dark throes Of whatever our fate is here As we must learn year over year Who we are as compared to others Finding our ways through this life's doors To a state of mind, not place As we cannot hide from our own face That stares back at us in mirrors Holding the eyes of our souls' terrors So in a sky full of countless stars What does it matter where we are Our problems seem so small When we consider other's plights, all Dwarf our own despair as the Arc of Life does guarantee We will walk on other's paths And never see the Footprints that Show up beside our every step It is we who won't accept That we are held up in our lives By Angels who keep step with our stride Are we so consumed by selfishness That we won't accept God's promise To never give us more than we can bear Trusting beside us He's always there How hard life is speaks of our minds If we don't surrender in kind Of how we think things should always be Not having faith that He loves each Of His children, He does not give Us the torment we Choose to live He is only by us to balance Our faltered steps when we chance To break out of ourselves as we See others live more miserably He placed us there so we can see We've so much to treasure gratefully My grandmother said "In hard times, Don't look up in dark envy, Shield your eyes from coveting What others have that's inviting Always look down and you will find Others who need you to mind Their deeper losses, as you'll see Life isn't so bad for thee" So each time I start to cry About the problems in my life I remember Great-Anna's words My consciousness seeks other worlds In which I'll find another who Needs me to hold them up, too For who said God's Angels aren't we The ones who He sent to set others free Yes, we'll always need a hand Up on the ladder to His Eden But if we haven't reached behind us To hold another's hand as we climb up We'll only go as far as we Helped another up gracefully As we are here to be Light to Others in darkness who need us, too We are His gentle hand offered To touch others in devoted Love For without us, Who is God Does He exist without Us

Without Us, Who Is God

In The Beginning ~
On my darkest, most lonely night After hours of the saddest tears I'd cried I'd begged of heaven to answer my pain To ease my sorrows or let me die There was a full moon above mountain cliffs Endless empty roads I drove Through my tears I traveled in circles As with my pain I'd no where to go Then in a bright flash in my mind A Lady appeared in front of me I only saw Her flowing white robes And a Blue sash cover Her crown heavenly The kindest gaze I'd ever known Showed me the loving care in Her eyes Her arms outstretched to welcome me Into the fold of Her warmth and smile Her presence begged my heart to let go To release my mountain of ache to Her Allow Her to simply rock me gently Feel Her love wrap me as would a Mother I don't recall the road I drove on Or how my car stayed between the lines I was so enraptured by Her To all else I wanted to stay blind I no longer felt my age I was as a babe again Never wanting to leave Her embrace Never wanting to feel alone again Once Her majestic presence passed from me My tears had dried and I felt so free Only needing to stay awake to go home Carrying with me Her love, Most Holy I wondered if I'd see Her again And She didn't disappoint me As everywhere I looked thereafter Blue Orbs of Her Love showed up frequently Could I trust what happened to me Had I gone insane or mad I truly thought it mattered not As tucked deep in my heart Her dear grace I had Blessed Mother of The Holy Word Now I see She visits often All of Her cherished children everywhere She blesses, smiles, begs us to repent She prays for us that we will be strong Live forgiveness in each soul we pardon For only loving one another so Can She count us in Her Sacred Garden

Every time we meet someone Of like mind, hobbies, what if's We find we start to fall in love As we project on them our gifts I love you's and My dear friend Fall loosely from our eager hearts Until the onion is peeled back And we see in them our faults Then as fast as we ran into A friendship or a coupling We find ourselves backing out of All promises we were making We fall first, question later Why someone else again fell shy Of the picture we carry in Our hearts of those we wish were nigh Idealized romantic flights Take our minds onto the shores Of another's precious life And into their heart's corridors And once there we find ourselves In the carnival's mirrored maze Everywhere we look we find Another image of our own face Once we're freed of one glass maze We are left alone once again Gliding through life in search of Our hearts in other loves and friends

The Maze
With each sunrise and each nights fall We are born and die again As with another Dawn to be Risen, we new women and men Each night when we fall into dreams It is a form of death we find Ourselves are off to other realms Whisking through the Dreamer's Mind Then with each new Dawn we wake Back into this reality Wishing we'd slept just one more hour To fly among the Eagle's fields I'm not afraid to fall asleep at night So why do I fear the day When it is my soul decides It's time for me to go away A life lived in constant fear Of what kind of death we'll meet Is no Life at all, no cheer Why bother waking up from the Dreams we trust will return us Back to our world of light and dust Why do we not understand Each death is a rebirth for us As we know we'll wake from the Nightmares that make us writhe at night Why don't we trust to be gently Placed in a new Dawn of Light How many times are we all told When it is death will find us Our Spirits will have already soared Reborn in Surrender and Trust

Death a Rebirth
I'm learning, Lord, please be patient I know I have prayed countless times For forgiveness and repentance Yet I keep falling to my mind Help me, Lord, to see that you Are forever by my side The journey through this darkest night Begs that I pray for your Light I know I fall short often, Lord But love me anyway? Don't ever give up on me As I'm but a child led astray Yes there is grey hair on my head And lines upon my face that say I should be older, wiser now But I'm More of a child today Life's hard lessons have worn down The thickest walls around my heart Bearing to this crueler world I am but a babe at its start So hold me up, tight, and so near I cannot walk this world alone Please help me take my first steps to Sit beside you at your Throne Yes my ego made me believe I need nothing and no one But I now know I was so wrong And beg you not leave me alone I admit I know nothing Yet crave to Feel Your precious love Please take my hand and walk me to The God I was I was created of I'll be Your pen, Your truest heart I've given up on defining Myself by lies of this world It's in You I've found everything Let me rest now for a while Walk through my dreams of finding Thee Still walking in glades of Eden I'll join you in Eternity Prepare for me a place at your feet I give You me willingly I've much to learn if I hope to Be worthy of Your forgiving

A Prayer
Sitting high upon a hill Watching a dancing painting of A rhapsody of regal hues Splashed across the horizon Springtime's trying to debut Precious flowers around my feet Grasses wave in a balmy breeze Trees' branches tipped with Spring's new green Trees filled with swooning songbirds that Sing to me twilight's melodies Before they gently tuck their heads To fly off into heaven's dreams The gentle arc of Gaia pulls Us all into another night But not before we're enraptured By the Star that bids us goodnight The cold chill of Winter is gone Gaia awakes another year Nothing ever delights me more Than to be witness to Spring's cheer All quiets as the Golden Orb Dips behind the vast Blue Ridge Then the troubadours of night Come out to begin their chorus I cannot make myself go home I want to take in every scent Every shadow, every light Each sound, Spring's every sentiment The floral heavenly landscape Replaced now by a canopy Of Diamonds strewn across the night Clusters of souls, signs, dazzling Still I must bid this day goodnight And fall into dreams of my own Perhaps I'll find there the sweet birds Who serenaded me with song Then Awaken to another Day, in childlike awe of a new Dawn, in which the Golden Star will Create a masterpiece anew With its sunbeams dripping hues That God will compose for me Another day of miracles Created by the Dreamer's Dreams

Spring ~
The Spirit follows to where we Seek comfort in sanctuaries Closing ourselves off from Time Meditate seeking Truth's glory But we find we can't escape From ourselves, as we'll always be In wherever it is we've run We cannot hide the need that we All have to look within ourselves Meet who it is we really are From mountaintops to ashrams It is in Silence we hear the call The Voice that speaks only of Love That drowns out our self condemning thoughts That washes us in cleansing fire As we finally see the Light in us Is not separate from the All We are but a beam in the Rainbow of Souls that are a part Of Heaven's Holy Symphony For Here Light is the same as Sound Each note of God's Harp so strong It's here we finally see we are Needed to create One Divine Song

One Divine Song
If we're always Here and Now Where were we before This moment we find ourselves in And where is it we'll go If there is no there or then No yesterday or today How is it we'll navigate This realm's laws and ways If Space is a mental construct Of measurements in Time Where were my feet before I stepped Into God's infinite mind Close your eyes to understand The Zero-point you're in Where everything and every thought Whispers in timeless winds Life is no more than the sum Of all the ways in thought and deed WE changed in a single Moment In Love's Endless Eternity
