many, many memberships have I, to great institutions, large and small, though I oft have an extra shopping bag secreted in my coat pockets just in case….I spot a tiny sized bargain but Costco has ruled me ineligible, unable / unwilling to let me enter, for I do not possess their le carte d’identite necessaire… oh they would let me in, if I ante’d up the fee, but, between you and me, but what’s the point? living in a pint sized a/k/a my studio nyc apartment, there is no space large enough to accommodate their supersized inventory of 24 paper towel rolls, one doubled sized cereal boxes that that won’t fit my cabinet, or take up an entire shelf, and where gallons and megs~packs are seldom heard, crying out “I’m lonely, buy me, buy me!, I long for lots of company!” B U T I voyage on the Amazon where they accommodate we little people in little houses, like an old woman who lived^ in a shoe, so many poems in my head, there just isn’t room for a whole lot of much else

Trice…A brief period of time: As a noun, "trice" means a very short time, or an instant. It is most often used in the phrase "in a trice," which means "very quickly" or "in a flash". Example: "She'll be ready in a trice". [{($}][{()}] my liefs: have roamed the countryside closer to a century, except in places Where seldom is heard a discouraging word (vintage 1870’s poem from Kansas) has ever been heard, "She'll be ready in a trice" bespoke it could be localized, thus the health authorities should be able to contain it, in a trice? the treasurer of kept words, confirms its usage since 1800 has declined dramatically but as of yet, never full eradicated, {espy below} but in fact its origin as a sailor’s terminology, which most likely, explains, it’s absence from the tongues of proper folk, while most recent outbreak was spotted (outlined, envision, striped?) in Illo’noise I do not sense an urgent demand, for the phrase’s resuscitation, as long as good middle class mouths yet say, ”she’ll be down in a jiffy” which properly has caused great nervousness among many the visages of many a young lad of recent vintage, on prom nights throughout the land, as no one knows what a jiffy is, (inacondom, conundrum?) especially when slang is busy updating, this quaint dialectical of “American” of mostly stolen words from other well spoken thieving places would you fancy you a cuppa “tay” while deliberating this new found piece of knowledge [see below below and yes, mispronounced by trillions of westerners] while pondering this e~scripture, it will be ready most nice in a jiffy of trice… the work of the kitbag is never done…sigh

~for the divine Miz Patty m.~ here in our scriptural rental storage unit ($25/month), lay many a note, not specifically addressed, but the generation that calls us grande and grandees, will know, instant comprehend that what was herein inscribed was intensifying insided for their eyes only… you, are eye dropper eavesdroppers, on semi-private conversations, willing testaments to all we’ve seen, notable thoughts we lived by and aspired to, too, two, lessons in the laws of poetry most applicable to living life every day, minimizing the flora of deception, valuing the truth detoothed and raw, the coverups easily pierced, more for ease of entry than disguised mirroring, keyed to be easy unlockable, but it is a more precisely a donation, with a deductible status. each line a deduction of ourselves, each belle lettered word, a donation, that will keep well, even if unattended, unfed, unwatered,* and yet, dare it not tarnish, even withouts sparkle, or nary a sun star shining, for each be blessed with a coating of impermeable anti-aging, the invisible ink of loving ~

Do you recall the first time you felt sunshine on your face?
does the darjeeling settle at the poem bottom, drifting, dropping to the base, falling from the letters above,  struggling to defy gravity, how would you know, into my tummy go 30+ ounces of caribbean dark aromatic coffee, tinged with mocha forming skim milk, ccs, recorded and ordered for final disbursement both darjeeling and I, have r~aged older, my poetry advances in a different track, the tea will be drained, and the poet regardless of position let new ones puddle, huddling, sating the cup's bottom awaiting further instructions, most likely drain dying riverdrops, almagamating, ready to shower the seekers nearby,
