I told myself I wouldn't fall in love this year,
the heartbreak isn't worth the beer,
I know my mind is clear,
The heavens knew I was queer...
This is the tale of a seer.
Cupid worked extra hard,
finally the jaded man put down his guard.
The joker finally put down his best card.
One day a prince came into his yard.
The night turned into twilight & left him scarred.
Over time the joker turned into THE FOOL.
The Fool like in the tarot became cool.
Cupid kept shooting more arrows cause he's cruel.
The prince with eyes as blue as the ocean left to rule.
*The Fool transformed to The Magician & then the ice in his soul caused a winter storm.*
The Magician knew the prince already from a past life.
Armed now, Aphrodite stepped in with a knife.
She cut out the Magician's wasted heart,
that night the Magician was made smart.
No longer a mortal, the Magician's soul was pure again.

I once was an angel that fell from glory...
Cause I pretended to sin to make a fun story.
Then I became confused;
not only to thyself but the world I cruised.
Every night a new persona came alive!
The sun & the moon didn't matter on a drive.
Time for the fun one who no one knew...
The true one was only known by a few.
My light became darkness in the faint glow of neon lights.
In the darkness I'd be hunting for love all nights.
Something glowing within but nothing but darkness.
Now with the light faded from my eyes & soul...
I met a man in a hellhole.
My dark soul finally found a home.
But the goal was different & now I roam.

I'm so sad I think I'm happy now,
I run torn and broken yet fully aware,
the pain in my eyes cannot be hidden through lenses,
the sorrow in my heart too heavy to stand,
yet the regrets from yesterday still remind me of you.
The happiness ripped out of my existence to feel your pain,
only a glimpse of your brain,
throughout the blood rain,
I seen your heart dropping from the sky still beating,
longing for "True Love" and my heart made the same greeting.
Although I have all the answers,
I won't reveal one as I am one of several cancers,
a cancer of your mind and your soul,
forever engraved in your existence and taking a toll,
I promised I was deadly when we met like a drug to a user.

My only companion all of these years,
even after all the beers,
through all of the fears,
unheard by any ears...
Has always been music.
Emotions cannot be seen as well as they are felt,
not even with acting can they be given nor dealt,
only you feel what runs through your mind...
after all the pain settles you're left blind.
Love, Hate & Fear are as essential as the breath you take.
And then there are those who cannot love,
not even if it's kind of.
Those who love to hate,
think they're great,
The cycle repeats until you're back listening to music again.

taking control of you again like crack.

Last night I slept next to her,
surely it was a blur,
I didn't even care what she meant,
she kept me safe without consent...
Well that was the night I slept next to Marilyn...
She was smiling all night long,
she wasn't happy but why was she smiling all along?
Coping with that inner sadness,
just like me with all of that madness...
Happiness is subjective, you can look happy and be rotting inside.
Drowning in her tears by morning,
I knew when she was gone... I'd be mourning.
Cause when she leaves,
she robs you like a million thieves.
Empty & alone, I realize it's only her visage keeping me company.
