Behind the disguise
there is a circus of lies
hidden within your eyes
wistful flurry of desires
flowing colours and playing with fire
juggling all the stories you liar
liar liar pants on fire
fighting through the barriers you build
I'm coming to burn down this field
this field of dreams
gotta build it first

the circus will come
the ringleader you are

careful, you might burn down what is dire
in dire need of being said
watch where you tread
youre walking a tightrope
but youve helped me see what i wrote
i wrote in chalk what i was
but now i carve in stone

because now ive found my purpose

"A set of eyes emerge from the cave,
Looking out upon the land before him,
Eyeing the terrain to navigate his way,
To find what beckons his heart in.
Eyes glisten when he discovers his path
He steps out in to the heavy sunlight
The ground feels warm, he treads fast
The heat distorts his keen eyesight
He squints into what he sees before him
The target of which he is to acquire
He crouches to satisfy his whim
Hastily leaping for his goal like rapid fire
Will he capture his target ?
Or has he acted irrationally?
Has he descended into darkness?
Has he concluded his task successfully?
Time can only tell ...

Lessons to be learnt,
Teaches me to dwell,
Aching is not felt,
Freed from thine hell.
Unbound from shackles,
released from pergatory,
fires let out a crackle,
only embers left, our story.
Wept I have not,
further away your ghost,
scars I have got,
yet renewal I boast.
The present; there is no more strife.
The past; I barely heed.
The future; new life.
I will nurture this seed....
