she's bleeding,
she's needing the words I kept for her.
The words she gave to me, feel more like goodbye than I ever thought they'd be.
The life I made,the life I poured over her was empty, it will never come,not here, not with breathing.

What i’ll never understand,
is how little you know.
It’s a joke from before and you’re never quite sure
if you’re on the right lines-
So you just let it go.
I sit and I talk,
You’re there and you nod,
I wish that you knew that I want to hear you,
I hate that you listen to every third word,
And stitch up the rest into something absurd.

A tease, cold hearted, she thinks she is enough.
He warmed me, he melted me.
Every minute of love- was a crack in the ice, every laugh
a tear rolling down the frosty shape- falling down my cheek.
It was a puddle, an icey mistake,

A ropey grip,
So I wont fall.
The warm breeze,
His breath, a yawn, a growl.
I swing in and out of his deathly pout.
His tongue a mattress if I should drop,
Hurricane or storm,
cold then hot-
Weather or not,
I’ll still be swinging.
