Words. W-o-r-d-s. Who decided the letters should be shaped the way they are, and sound the way they do, and gave them their names? And who thought, 'Let's call these funny marks letters?' Who decided how to spell alphabet, or apostrophe, or dictionary? / / I think too much. And then vent it out through poetry, which is how I ended up here and you got stuck reading my endless boring bio thing.

The cry of the crowd
This is what she wanted
