i looked up and saw them
steady in position, outlined in black
amazed by the tremulous shine
a never-ending radiant light
i laid there, pensive
are those stars meant to fill me with joy?
they make the sad; happy
they give the lost; guidance
they give the lonely; hope
they cure faint hearts.
they make old-fashioned love feel existent.
were they placed there to be my comfort?
i’ve never known such passion.
they felt closer than ever before
still it does not satisfy my thirst
i want to be wrapped in them.

my flesh kissing the warm tropical breeze
i, laying on a hilltop within the grass
enticed by memories of how love is
absorbed by thoughts of when love will flourish once again.

who has been conquered by a woman’s fierce crusade,
who is this invader?
why am i so anxious for her to incinerate all 5 of my senses?
i begged a greater being to let me die in her arms.
in her embrace i wish to find comfort and safety.
her tongue is a form of fire
her touch a form of ecstasy
her gaze resembled the radiance of a billion suns

Exposed to a god-sent beauty derived from the meadows of perfection.
I revealed every crude and hidden intention like a naked man in Winter’s rain.
Does she not see the shine in my eye when in my imagination she glides by?
In that moment only, am I able to forge us together.
Without reason, I am stored away and forgotten…
It is the secretion that falls from the dark sky that enchants me to lust for her on my knees.
She now controls my conscience and what is left of my heart.
Does she deserve this? My sweetest disposition towards her.
It is beautiful how she crusaded through my soul without her own prior knowledge and intention…

sitting in heavy silence, looking out into nothing, remembering the night i made your body shiver. imagining my fingers wrapped around your satin soft, cinnamon0n colored skin. grabbing on to every part of you. each hold inflamed with passion. as if every touch pleaded for the moment never to cease. my thoughts centered on the drop of sweat that trickled down your spine and nested in the small of your back. the intensity of your desire and pleasure transmitted by your moan on my ear. my hairs stand like a battalion of soldiers at attention. the way your lips seeped honey onto mine. how the moonlight penetrated the glass and made your hair shine and your eyes shimmer. but i will most certainly never forget how you looked steady upon me kissed me firmly and told me you loved me. —
