who are struggling in misery

It's best to keep one's aspirations to oneself-
such silence will not court the envy or speculation of other people.
Besides, other people are too concerned with their personal pursuits
or problems, and, as such, they would just ignore you and could find no reason to appreciate what you do.
Too often in life, knowing how to be silent is such a rare wisdom.

In Confucian tradition, husbands could divorce their wives based on ‘Seven Grounds for Divorce’ as stated below but generally this no longer applies in modern days:
1 failure to produce a son;
2 disobedience to the parents in law;
3 promiscuity or lewd behaviour;
4. jealous behaviour ( disrupting household harmony)
5. had an incurable disease
6. excessive talking
7. theft
This aspect appears in a chapter on The Sociology of a Confucian Family in my 10th forthcoming book titled The Wisdom of Confucianism (A Guide for our chaotic modern Age), to be ready in Feb.
