एक कागज, और एक नाम,
जो हासिल न हुआ वो मुकाम।
पढ़ने में न दिन लगें न रात ,

आज फिर बारिश आई हैं
बागों में बगीचा में खेतों में कहीं,
मेरे कच्चे मकान का हाल लेने।
जलते लौ का इंतिहान लेने।
अब वो बिन वजह डुब जाते हैं
गोते लगाना हर किसी को नहीं आता
गहराइयों को थोड़ा सब्र होता
तो वह मुझसे इस कदर रूट नहीं जाता।
हालात सबके वहीं है
नजरीए की बात है
मैं किस नजरिए से देखूं
मुझे उसकी तलाश है।
